Clarke b Leach 12 (Notts 104-3 - need 417 to win at Somerset)

    No spin, no problem.

Jack Leach comes in from wide on the crease and bowls one which doesn't grip, doesn't turn, just slides between Joe Clarke's bat and pad and nestles between middle and leg stump.

2-20 for Leach and Notts are three down.

    Jack Haynes joins Freddie McCann.

    Seven wickets standing.

    Surely not?

    Luxton lbw Hadley 5 (Yorks 162-4 - target 295)

Now then - are we going to see a Glamorgan win to mark their re-entry into the top flight of the County Championship?

Will Luxton plays across the line to a straight one from Ryan Hadley and there's no doubt about the decision.

"In the context of the game, the next half hour is going to be crucial," says BBC Radio Wales' Nick Webb.

  3. Postpublished at 16:42 BST 6 April

    Yorks 161-3 - target 295

A boundary each for the two Yorkshire batters from the latest Mason Crane over. Adam Lyth gives himself room before piercing the off-side field as he moved into the 90s and Will Luxton sweeps to good effect from the final delivery.

  4. Postpublished at 16:40 BST 6 April

Kent 149-3 - need 357 to win at Durham

Daniel Bell-Drummond is having a spot of treatment after getting struck on the thumb by Matty Potts in his last over.

  5. Postpublished at 16:40 BST 6 April

    Northants 258 & 168-7 v Lancs 384 & 194

Lancs bring their other opening bat on at the other end as they go to an all spin diet as Harry Singh brings his off spin to the table.

First delivery is a dot ball. Second is a drag down that he gets away with and the remaining four go for a single.

Luke Wells, a left hand bat but right arm leggie, is back on with four to go before the new ball.

  6. Postpublished at 16:36 BST 6 April

Notts 103-2 - need 417 to win at Somerset

Joe Clarke uses that outside edge of the bat again to steer Alfie Ogborne across the slips to the backward point boundary for his second boundary.

The pressure is being applied by Jack Leach with a couple of hearty appeals for leg-before but there is no real peril for Notts as they glide towards what seems an inevitable draw.

Well, until Ogborne bangs a couple of short ones in at Freddie McCann who takes a couple of blows. Not really what you want in the final hour of play of day four.

  7. Draw imminentpublished at 16:35 BST 6 April

    Warwickshire 544 v Surrey 328 & 430-4

Surrey are batting on at Edgbaston so they appear to have no thoughts about getting Warwickshire in before the close.

The draw should be confirmed in the next half hour.

  8. Postpublished at 16:34 BST 6 April

    Northants 258 & 166-7 v Lancs 384 & 194

Luke Wells is on. He had six overs posting 0-14 in the first innings. Can he get something before the new ball arrives? First ball driven through the covers for a single.

  9. 150 runs

150 for Dan Lawrencepublished at 16:31 BST 6 April

    Warwickshire 544 v Surrey 328 & 427-4

It's been a glorious innings from Dan Lawrence who will be looking for a way back into the England set-up.

He's played some lovely shots off his toes and some fine offside drives.

The 28-year-old brought up his 150 with a single clipped onto the legside and now may have his sights on a career best which currently stands at 178.

  10. Postpublished at 16:31 BST 6 April

    Yorks 151-3 - target 295

Mason Crane beats Will Luxton with a perfectly pitched leg-break.

He bowled Luxton behind his legs in the first innings and the Yorkshire batter is going to need some time to settle.

  11. 100 runs

stand for Kentpublished at 16:31 BST 6 April

Kent 144-3 - need 357 to win at Durham

Tawanda Muyeye clips Kemar Roach pleasantly through mid-wicket for his 12th four to move into the 60s and bring up the century partnership with skipper Daniel Bell-Drummond from just 134 balls.

31 overs to come... the required rate is still under seven an over but the visitors will just be happy to have those seven wickets in hand after the early flurry of wickets.

  12. Postpublished at 16:31 BST 6 April

    Northants 165-7 Target 321

Seven overs to go before the new ball and Luke Wells is still flamboyantly going through a warm-up routine for the benefit of his skipper.

He should steady on a touch because much more of this and he will pull a muscle before he is brought on.

Six overs after this before the new ball. Come on Jimmy, put us and him out of his misery.

  13. Postpublished at 16:30 BST 6 April

    Yorks 151-3 - target 295

Mason Crane has the shades on now.

His line is wrong as Adam Lyth carves away through the covers for four.

The next ball is a full toss but Lyth misses as he tries to swing it away and the ball hits him 'amidships'.

  14. Postpublished at 16:29 BST 6 April

Notts 97-2 - need 417 to win at Somerset

Joe Clarke, who made 92 in the first innings, picks up his first boundary of the second innings with a lovely slash off Alfie Ogborne which races to the backward point boundary.

Barely a cloud in the sky here at Edgbaston. What a lovely way to spend the Bank Holiday! A pleasure to watch Smith and Lawrence score centuries too!

    Ian, at Edgbaston

The Crete Tourist Board will probably hate this message, Ian...

  16. Postpublished at 16:25 BST 6 April

    Yorks 145-3 - target 295

Things were looking very promising for Yorkshire at tea - not so much now. They need another 150 from 29 overs and lot depends on Adam Lyth, who is 82 not out.

  17. Derbyshire turn to Bashirpublished at 16:24 BST 6 April

    Derbyshire 625-8 v Worcestershire 312 & 238-6

Derbyshire acting captain Harry Came has brought Shoaib Bashir back into the attack with Worcestershire continuing to resist.

Ethan Brookes, last season's top six hitter, has faced 83 balls for his 16.

Worcestershire's defensive approach makes it unlikely they'll get ahead of the home side so they'll have to see out all of the remaining 30 overs.

Mason Crane takes a wicketImage source, Huw Evans Picture Agency

James Wharton lifts his head as he tries to pull a ball from Mason Crane and is bowled.

Verdict on the shot from BBC West Yorkshire Sport's Jonathan Doidge: "Oh dear."

Jonny Bairstow substitute Will Luxton is in at five.

  19. Postpublished at 16:19 BST 6 April

Kent 126-3 - need 357 to win at Durham

34 more overs for Kent to negotiate.

They are by no means having things their own way still with Matty Potts beating the edge and then finding the edge of Daniel Bell-Drummond's bat, only for it to drop short of Ben McKinney at slip.

However Tawanda Muyeye starts the latest Kemar Roach over with a glorious stroke to the rope for his 11th boundary.

That’s just the tonic Middx needed with a bitter backroom battle going on over the running of the club. Sterner tests lie ahead, and the club’s future won’t be far from the headlines all summer, but today is the time to applaud the players for an excellent start!
