  1. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Notts 163-6 v Surrey 69-0

The first over from Liam Patterson-White is greeted with a superb reverse sweep from Jason Roy.

That takes the ex-England opener to 35.

And it's back-to-back boundaries for Roy as he does exactly the same off the next delivery.

The target is under 100 and it's a third successive four as Roy squares cuts him.

    Surrey are big favourites now.

  2. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Somerset 38-4 v Yorkshire

Logan van Beek to bowl the ninth.

Yorkshire have three spinners remember, but the seamers are doing the damage so Jonny Bairstow cycles through them still.

  3. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 84-4

Essex need a further 128 runs from nine overs.

The required rate is more than 14 per over.

  4. 50 runs

50 up for Surreypublished at 7 overs

    Notts 163-6 v Surrey 53-0

A fine stroke from Jason Roy as he smokes one through the covers off Olly Stone to bring up the half-century partnership.

There are no major risks from the rest of the over as Surrey accumulate three more singles.

  5. ouch!

    Postpublished at 7.5 overs

    Somerset 38-4 v Yorkshire 161-9

Lewis Goldsworthy is clocked in the head off AJ Tye, so is tended to by Laura Holmes the Somerset physio.

We are waiting for a new helmet to come out.

He is ok to continue but Somerset may benefit from this breather to take stock after a whirlwind 40 minutes with the ball from Yorkshire.

  6. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 79-4

Nine runs from a James Fuller over.

It is very quiet in the ground - do the crowd think this is done?

Essex need 133 to win off 10 overs. Unlikely.

  7. Spin to startpublished at 1 over

Northants 4-0 chasing 153 to beat Glos

Interesting start from Gloucestershire as they go pace off straight away.

It's a tidy start from Graeme van Buuren who concedes just four singles.

But facing a modest target Northants opening batters Ricardo Vasconcelos and Chris Lynn can afford to be patient.

  8. 'Essex actually ahead at this stage'published at 18:40 BST 15 July

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 70-4

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Essex are actually ahead of Hampshire at this stage.

Hampshire at 62, they were 77 at the halfway stage after 10 but Hampshire did kick on with 134 off the second 10 overs.

  9. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Notts 163-6 v Surrey 46-0

The last over of the powerplay is bowled by Mohammad Amir and he uses a mix of slower balls to keep the batters guessing.

However, Jason Roy and Laurie Evans are reading the situation nicely.

And Evans turns the over in Surrey's favour as he guides the final ball down to deep backward square for four.

Notts were 34-2 in comparison at the end of their first six overs.

  10. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 70-4

Only four runs from Andrew Neal's second over.

Just not enough for Essex who have found the Utilita Bowl a tough place for the second time this season.

Hampshire were 62-1 at the same stage by the way.

  11. Postpublished at 7 overs

Somerset 36-4 chasing 162 to beat Yorkshire

Often shunted down to allow the bigger-hitters to come in, Lewis Goldsworthy gets a rare chance at six today.

A delightful pull off Matt Revis bisects the legside sweepers for four.

Tom Kohler-Cadmore has been out of form since his Championship injury at Chelmsford, he is being restrained so far to try and get himself in too.

  12. 'Smeed chipped it to Moeen Ali'published at 18:34 BST 15 July

    Somerset 28-4 v Yorkshire 161-9

Will Smeed couldn't have chipped it to Moeen Ali any better if he tried.

  13. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 66-4

The required rate for Essex is 12 runs per over.

Hampshire might be thinking about their hotel reservation for the weekend unless we are going to see something pretty spectacular.

  14. Postpublished at 5 overs

    Notts 163-6 v Surrey 37-0

George Linde is a bit short and Laurie Evans drills it through the offside for four.

Jason Roy then makes room to work one through the offside for four, excellent use of the feet and hands with that one.

Notts could do with a wicket.

  15. Phenomenal powerplay from Yorkshirepublished at 6 overs

Somerset 29-4 needing 162 for Finals Day

Well that was not on many people's bingo cards.

Super start from the home side defending what seemed like a below par 162 in this scorching heatwave.

The Yorkshire bowlers are getting movement and Somerset are not crashing to the boundary as they so often do back at home or at South Group grounds.

  16. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 7.5 overs

    Benkenstein c Currie b Fuller 17 (Hants 211-3 v Essex 66-4)

James Fuller gets in on the act.

Luc Benkenstein pulls down the ground straight into the waiting hands of Scott Currie.

Matt Critchley is next up for Essex.

  17. End of Gloucestershire inningspublished at 20 overs

Glos 152 all out v Northants

Some improvising at the end of the innings from James Bracey at least got Gloucestershire beyond 150, though not by much.

They looked like posting a much higher total when Ben Charlesworth hit a series of fours and sixes off David Willey and George Scrimshaw on his way to a career best 68.

But, apart from James Taylor, no other batter was able to support Charlesworth and the second half of the innings was a struggle.

Willey and Ben Sanderson had got off to a great start for Northants. They bowled all the powerplay overs between them and reduced the away side to 20-3 after four overs.

Sanderson took two wickets in the final over to finish with 4-20.

Gloucestershire did defend 121 right at the start of the competition. But that was at Bristol and, although there does appear to be some variable pace on this pitch, it'll be a surprise if they win from here.

  18. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.3 overs

    Smeed c Ali b Hill 21 (Somerset 28-4 v Yorkshire 161-9)

Yorkshire have taken four wickets in the powerplay!!

Moeen Ali with the easiest of catches at fly slip/short third.

Will Smeed with his bat well away from his body, not a good position to hit that through the covers, George Hill with another wicket.

Lewis Goldsworthy to rebuild ahead of his skipper at six.

  19. Postpublished at 4 overs

    Notts 163-6 v Surrey 27-0

A touch of class from Laurie Evans as he guides one past the wicketkeeper for four deliberately.

And Jason Roy ends the over with a good shot on the air that dissects mid-off and mid-on and gets to the rope.

A costly over of 12 from Olly Stone.

  20. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Hants 211-3 v Essex 62-3

Andrew Neal's over ends with another boundary.

Essex have taken 31 runs from the past three overs.

James Fuller is brought on by James Vince.
