    T Curran c Linde b Fernando 5 (Notts 163-6 v Surrey 151-5)

In truth it's not thrilling stuff from the Northants batters in front of what's turned out, under the circumstances. to be a respectably sized home crowd.

The batters have yet to hit a six as they refuse to take risks. They are steadily working their way to Edgbaston.

  10. Postpublished at 18 overs

    Somerset 123-8 v Yorkshire 161-9

Still no spin from Yorkshire, Hassan Ali completes his fourth.

Yorkshire have maximised home conditions very effectively and Somerset have not adapted quickly enough.

Craig Overton's late flurry still looking very likely to achieve nothing despite him having his side at a similar position to where Yorkshire were at this stage.

He hit 11 off the four balls he faced in that over.

Hampshire are into Finals Day for the 12th time.

That is a comprehensive victory over a very good Essex side who I'm afraid just didn't fire tonight.

Baker then ripped through the Essex top order with three wickets before adding two more later in the innings.

Hampshire stay on course for a fourth title and Essex can contemplate a miserable day on the coach ride back.
