  1. 'Hill hit out and got out'published at 17:24 BST 15 July

    Yorks 99-4 v Somerset

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

George Hill hit out and got out because he feathered it through to Thomas Rew.

Daniel Sams strikes again in the competition in 2026.

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 12.2 overs

    Pocklington c Roy b Lawrence 20 (Notts 87-3 v Surrey)

Joe Pocklington launches a six off Dan Lawrence straight on to take him to a T20 Blast best of 20.

He tries a repeat next ball but does not time it and Jason Roy takes a regulation catch at long-off.

  3. Postpublished at 15 overs

    Hants 134-1 v Essex

Stop the ride Essex want to get off.

Joe Weatherley hits two sixes and a four off Simon Harmer and is then dropped by Charlie Allison in the deep.

This could get messy for the visitors if they are not careful.

Harmer finishes with 1-31 from his four overs - that last one went for 19 runs.

  4. Postpublished at 12 overs

    Notts 81-2 v Surrey

Tom Lawes can't cling on to a difficult caught-and-bowled off Jack Haynes and that could be costly.

Haynes strikes two welcome fours in the rest of the over and he moves to a valuable 48.

  5. wicket

    Hill c T Rew b Sams 19 (Yorks 99-4 v Somerset)

Slower-ball-Sams makes George Hill completely miss an attempted scoop first ball of the 13th, then brilliant follow through fielding makes it two dots in a row.

Adam Lyth comes down to calm him down as Hill visibly shows the pressure of not rotating the strike enough.

Hill's struggles eventually end as he's caught behind attempting a filthy slog third ball.

Hard work for Matt Revis now coming in.

  6. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 14.4 overs

    Hants 128-1 v Essex

Joe Weatherley takes Simon Harmer down town twice in succession.

That is the first time Harmer has had more than a single scored off him.

  7. 'Northamptonshire knew that was an important wicket'published at 17:20 BST 15 July

    Glos 16-3 v Northants

    Andrew Radd
    BBC Radio Northampton

    That's a huge wicket!

Whether he got an inside edge on that, I'm not sure, but the leg stump to the left-hander was leaning drunkenly back.

The Northamptonshire players mobbed Ben Sanderson because they knew just how important that wicket is.

  8. Postpublished at 14 overs

    Hants 115-1 v Essex

Plenty of wickets in hand for Hampshire as out comes a drink for James Vince who has moved to 67 not out.

They made more than 200 in the South Group game here against Essex to win by 30 runs earlier in the competition and the visitors need to put the brakes on.

  9. 100 runs

    Postpublished at 12 overs

    Yorks 99-3 v Somerset

A good second over from Jake Ball only goes for six singles despite Adam Lyth dropping his bat as he enters his delivery stride for the final ball of the over.

A fist punch does the job as Lyth instantly apologises, Ball reloads and goes again for the final ball single.

  10. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 13.3 overs

    Hants 112-1 v Essex

Into the stands goes a pull from James Vince.

It is a 50 partnership between Vince and Joe Weatherley which has come from 33 balls.

  11. 50 runs

    50 partnershippublished at 11 overs

    Notts 69-2 v Surrey

Notts will need to at least double their score in the next half of the innings to reach a competitive score.

Jack Haynes goes for a quick single off the second ball of Tom Curran's latest over. There is nobody backing up and they manage to get a second. All very welcome.

Seven runs from the over and the 50 partnership comes up between Haynes and Joe Pocklington.

    A very important stand.

  12. 100 runs

100 up for Hampshirepublished at 13 overs

    Hants 103-1 v Essex

James Vince takes a second successive boundary to finish Paul Walter's first over.

Dangerous moments for Essex you sense.

  13. 50 runs

50 for James Vincepublished at 12.5 overs

    Hants 99-1 v Essex

He has survived being dropped on 46 but the Hampshire skipper gets to his 50 with a pull down to the fine leg boundary.

It is his 50th 50 in T20 cricket for Hampshire

  14. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 4.1 overs

    Short b. Sanderson (Glos 16-3 v Northants)

Just as Gloucestershire's top scorer this season appeared to be fighting back D'Arcy Short sees his stumps made a mess of by Ben Sanderson.

The bowler will have enjoyed that after having the previous delivery hit straight down the ground for four.

    Some regrouping needed by Gloucestershire

  15. Harmer with head in handspublished at 17:15 BST 15 July

    Hants 90-1 Essex

    Dan George
    BBC Sport at Utilita Bowl

Wow, that is a big let off for James Vince and Hampshire.

Harmer has his head in his hands after dropping that catch, Vince has looked much more like his usual self today, just one off his half century now.

  16. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Notts 62-2 v Surrey

A let-off for Joe Pocklington as he goes very, very high off Chris Jordan but it lands in between two fielders behind square.

The next ball is a carbon copy as left-handed Pocklington hoicks it up in the air. Jordan picks up the chase but again the ball wins, landing in a gap between four fielders, including the bowler.

Pocklington gets a third two of the over off the last ball as he and Jack Haynes manage to hustle nine from the six deliveries.

  17. 50 runs

50 for Adam Lythpublished at 10.1 overs

    Yorkshire 83-3 v Somerset

A 35th half-century in T20 cricket to add to his two big Blast hundreds too.

31 balls it took, completed with an eased one through midwicket off Lewis Gregory's seventh delivery.

Obvious statement though it is, he clearly holds the key for Yorkshire.

  18. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 12 overs

    Hants 90-1 v Essex

    That might be costly.

James Vince drives Luc Benkenstein into the hands of Simon Harmer at cover but down goes the ball.

    What a miss.

Paul Walter is on for Essex.

  19. Halfway Headingleypublished at 10 overs

    Yorks 82-3 v Somerset

Adam Lyth repeats his trick of the last over, a very modern trend, getting ahead of the game by taking a six first ball.

His use of the feet to Lewis Goldsworthy got that into his wheelhouse to take over wide long on.

A decent reply, wider, flatter from the Cornishman prompts him to attempt a rare reverse sweep, just for one.

George Hill goes inside out over extra for four before a single to close.

A decent over from Yorkshire now these two are set

  20. Postpublished at 11 overs

    Hants 83-1 v Essex

Six more runs for Hampshire and Matt Critchley's leg spin is replaced by Luc Benkenstein's own version of the art.
