  1. 'Yorkshire will have wanted to be further on'published at 17:09 BST 15 July

    Yorks 69-3 v Somerset

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

Yorkshire are managing to rebuild to some extent but they'd have wanted to be a fair bit further on at this stage

  2. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 1.4 overs

    van Buuren c Willey b Sanderson 2 (Glos 5-2 v Northants)

Gloucestershire in early trouble. Ben Sanderson strikes in his first over as Graeme van Buuren holes out to David Willey.

  3. 50 up for Nottspublished at 9 overs

    Notts 53-2 v Surrey

The first six of the game and it's a wonderful shot from Jack Haynes as he takes a step to leg and hits Dan Lawrence over extra cover.

He then takes two off the next ball and that brings up the Notts 50.

It's the best over of the innings as the batters take 11 from it.

  4. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Yorks 69-3 v Somerset

Dan Sams takes the ninth, and first ball Adam Lyth shows intent, exploiting mid off being in the ring and bopping him just over the straight boundary for six.

The remaining five balls are all singles.

  5. Postpublished at 10 overs

    Hants 77-1 v Essex

Joe Weatherley takes a six and two fours from the final three balls of the Matt Critchley over.

That releases the pressure on Hampshire.

  6. 6 runs

    Postpublished at 9.3 overs

    Hants 69-1 v Essex

A first maximum of the Hampshire innings as Joe Weatherley clubs Matt Critchley down the ground just out of the reach of Michael Pepper.

  7. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Notts 42-2 v Surrey

The ball is not really coming onto the bat at Trent Bridge as Jack Haynes struggles to time the first two balls of Tom Lawes' over.

This feels like an old-school one-dayer where wickets in hand for a charge in the last few overs may be the way to go.

Six off it, the run rate at 5.25 at the moment.

  8. 'Albert knew he didn't get hold of that'published at 17:04 BST 15 July

    Hants 61-1 v Essex

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

I think Toby Albert always knew he didn't quite get hold of that. Just the way he way he was watching the flight of ball, you knew there was a fair chance that was going to be taken.

  9. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Yorks 58-3 v Somerset

Lewis Gregory and Lewis Goldsworthy both start with easy first overs as Yorkshire seem reluctant to keep attacking having lost the dreaded three wickets in the Powerplay.

Matt Revis is more of a seven than a six, Yorkshire do not want him, their finisher, in too early. Without their England players and no longer having Dawid Malan this year, their batting is a bit light.

  10. Postpublished at 9 overs

    Hants 61-1 v Essex

The spinners of Simon Harmer and Matt Critchley have slowed the Hampshire progress across the past three overs with only seven runs added for the loss of Toby Albert.

  11. wicket

    Malan c McSweeneyb Willey 0 (Glos 2-1 v Northants)

Big early breakthrough for Northants. Dawid Malan pulls a David Willey delivery straight to McSweeney on the square leg boundary,

    Simon Harmer strikes.

Toby Albert tries to loft the Essex skipper down the ground but only succeeds in finding the waiting hands of Noah Thain.

Joe Weatherley is next in for Hampshire.

  13. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Notts 36-2 v Surrey

Spin straight away as the powerplay ends ,with the ball in Dan Lawrence's hands.

Just a couple of singles from the over.

  14. Under way at Northamptonpublished at 0.1 overs

    Glos 1-0 v Northants

Dawid Malan and the prolific D'Arcy Short start the batting for Gloucestershire.

David Willey bowls the opening over for the Steelbacks. Short guides his first ball down to third for a single.

As with elsewhere it's quite a sparse crowd although there is one spectator in front of me wearing a Lionel Messi shirt! I wonder if he's staying for the big screening later?

  15. Postpublished at 8 overs

    Hants 60-0 v Essex

Just the five runs from Matt Critchley's opening over.

Essex continue with twin spin as Simon Harmer continues.

Adam Lyth will have to do it all himself once again. Any Yorkshire fan knows whilst he’s there we’re not done.

  17. Gregory fit to bowlpublished at 6 overs

    Yorks 45-3 v Somerset

    Big news for Somerset fans.

Lewis Gregory has barely bowled for weeks, did not need to risk his body in the group stage decider on Sunday at home to Worcestershire and was coy as to how much he may bowl tonight.

He eases himself in with the easiest over of a T20, the first outside the powerplay, first of all.

  18. Postpublished at 7 overs

    Hants 55-0 v Essex

Nothing really there in terms of turn for Simon Harmer but he keeps it down to just three singles and a wide from his first over.

Essex could do with a breakthrough and on comes Matt Critchley with his leg spin - he took 4-16 against Hampshire in the South Group last Friday.

  19. Postpublished at 6 overs

    Notts 34-2 v Surrey

End of the Notts powerplay and no doubt which side will be happier.

Although Jack Haynes is looking in good nick as he plays a terrific pull for four off Sean Abbott.

The Outlaws will really need him to carry on from his score of 19 not out.

  20. Somerset's powerplaypublished at 6 overs

    Yorkshire 45-3 v Somerset

Brilliant work by Will Smeed at deep square leg saves a couple, as George Hill gets off the mark with two, not the four he thought he had.

Craig Overton has completed his usual three overs straight through, no change of tactic at the bigger ground of Headingley.
