Ben Manenti has played exceptionally well. Will Jacks floated it up, and Manenti takes his opportunity. He times it wonderfully.

Jacks is under real pressure here.

England look too casual in the field. Manenti and Mosca are providing plenty of entertainment against some average bowling. England much do better.

As someone with an English father and Italian mother. I am extremely torn here! Whatever happens from here, the Italian team have done brilliantly.

    A fifty for Ben Manenti

He follows up a bottom edge off Will Jacks' second ball which races away for four with a hearty biff down the ground for six.

No associate batter has ever scored a T20I fifty against England, both Tom de Grooth (for Netherlands, Lord's 2009) and Richie Berrington (for Scotland, Kolkata 2026) have fallen one run short on 49.

    Telltale double teapots, eh?

Both Justin Mosca and Ben Manenti are 40 not out off 30 and 20 balls respectively.

England need a wicket. Harry Brook turns to Will Jacks.

England look quiet in the field. There are a few hands on hips.

A nice partnership between Ben Manenti and Justin Mosca, but it still feels like Italy are a long way away. They need a couple of monster overs to put England on the back foot. It would have been easy for Italy to subside and fade away.

Nicely struck by Justin Mosca, and it was right out the middle of the bat. The good timing of it takes it over Phil Salt's head.

A pensive Brendon McCullum taps his lips with the aerial on his walkie talkie.

Still a big ask for Italy to keep up with the rate up above 12 an over

Justin Mosca rocks on the back foot and hammers a delivery dragged down by Liam Dawson over the boundary for four.

Let’s be honest. England have no chance in this tournament. Their bowling is ill-disciplined and batting timid. Even if they scrape through today, they won’t go much further.

Jacob Bethell is a brilliant fielder. He is graceful, quick and he glides around.

I did think it was slightly-risky strategy by Harry Brook to bat first at a ground known for quick runscoring.

A few big wafts of the willow from Ben Manenti to Adil Rashid before he's able to get off strike with a single.

The left-handed Justin Mosca slog sweeps Rashid later in the over but Jacob Bethell is just a foot or so away from being in catching range.

It's just a little bit twitchy England will think. If they get another wicket then momentum swings back England's way.

Sam Curran's left-arm seam summoned by England captain Harry Brook.

Ben Manenti whacks Curran for back-to-back sixes.

The Italian batter biffs Curran back over his head for a maximum and then picks a slower ball and whips it over the square-leg boundary.

Nothing tentative about the way Italy have approach this chase.

Ben Manenti and Justin Mosca pick up three singles off the remainder of Liam Dawson's over.
