Well well well, that was a 'hit me' ball!

Brandon King could've hit that anywhere! He was just sloppy in his execution of that shot really. He either needed to roll his wrists and look to play it along the floor or look to go over the top of the fielders.

What an absolute steal for Zimbabwe.

    King c Musekiwa b Ngarava 9 (WI 17-1)

Left-arm seamer Richard Ngarava offers up a tempter from Brandon King in to his body and he swallows the bait!

King backs away to leg and with a cross-batted swish from the West Indies opener sends it straight down the throat of Tashinga Musekiwa in the deep.

You figured there was just a little bit of desperation from the West Indies there, in particular Brandon King.

He has decided that Richard Ngarava is the bowler he is going to go after.

West Indies have a powerful and tall opening partnership.

Shai Hope really is the glue that sits at the top of their order with all of his experience. He always has good control throughout innings, allowing the expansive players around him to come into their own.

  6. WI 7-0published at 2 overs

Blessing Muzarabani, all 6ft 8in of him, bowls the second over for the Chevrons.

He's dismissed Shai Hope twice in two T20 internationals for not very many so inevitably the West Indies skipper is happy to nudge him for a couple of singles.

The fourth ball of Muzarabani's over is a rasper that nips away from the defensive prod of Brandon King.

We can expect this opening pair to get off to a solid start.

Brandon King likes to be aggressive quite early on. Shai Hope is more of a traditional opener so he likes to give himself a bit of time, but when he gets going he is great against spin and very dangerous.

Zimbabwe will have to look out for that.

Richard Ngarava grunts as he delivers. He has good control of his length to start with and already Zimbabwe seem as sharp as a tack in the field.

Zimbabwe Sikandar Raza said: "Looking at the games that were played in Mumbai and also looking at the history it looks like it's a ground that is suitable for chasing. Our seamers have done so well - it looks like a good deck but we want to give them a chance to make some early inroads.

"This ground has got such a beautiful history and if we can write our name in the history books as well that would be brilliant. If we can put out best foot forward and get a good result for our country then that will be something to be proud of."
