Be amazed if this is out. Smacks of desperation from Zimbabwe as they review a delivery which Rovman Powell looks to work to leg.

There was almost certainly some bat on it.

It is such a small ground in Mumbai and Rovman Powell is using the crease exceptionally well.

The power that he has when he hits the ball on the ground means he is able to just dissect the fielders. It doesn't look like they are even getting a chance at the minute.

    Glad someone clocked it, Shano.

Shimron Hetmyer would give Arnold Schwarzenegger a run for his money in the bench-pressing stakes, I reckon.

Sikander Raza is launched for a monster 108-metre hit into the stands for six off his first ball.

Hetmyer shows his deftness as well, though, by stylishly late cutting for four a couple of deliveries later.

Loving the "Let off some steam, Bennett" quote - one Arnie's best lines.

  5. WI 98-2published at 9 overs

Zimbabwe's spinners taking some tap, here.

Rovman Powell latches on to one a little bit short from Graeme Cremer and the West Indies batter swats it into the leg side for four.

The wily Cremer gets the final ball of the over to grip and spin away to beat the outside edge of Powell's bat.

Six runs added to the West Indies total.

Shimron Hetmyer has come out the blocks, hasn't he?

He is definitely not holding back and it was a favourable match-up for him there, with the leg-spin and the ball turning in. He has absolutely zero respect for the ball turning in and he has shown that with his start.

Zimbabwe have a big challenge now.

  7. 50 runs

Fifty for Shimron Hetmyerpublished at 7.5 overs

With another huge swing of the willow Shimron Hetmyer clears the ropes behind square off Sikandar Raza.

Hetmyer then brings up his half-century off just 19 balls by walloping the Zimbabwe captain over cow corner.

Lots of bottom-hand biffage but that's the fastest-ever fifty by a West Indies batter at a T20 World Cup.

  8. 6 runs

    WI 79-2published at 7.2 overs

Shimron Hetmyer has muscled 41 off 16 balls.

He goes deep into his crease and hammers Sikandar Raza for a 94-metre six over the mid-wicket boundary

  9. 6 runs

    WI 72-2published at 7 overs

Spin for Zimbabwe in the former of the experienced Graeme Cremer.

With pace off Shimron Hetmyer ditches the helmet while Rovman Powell elects for the cap.

The West Indies pair milk singles before Hetmyer uses his feet twice to the 39-year-old leg-spinner and heave shim into the stands for back-to-back sixes.

That's a huge blow for West Indies!

Their captain Shai Hope is probably the most experienced batter in their line-up today. It never really felt like he got to grips with this pitch.

It was a wonderful change of pace from Brad Evans too, a great piece of bowling. It is another breakthrough!

    Hope c Bennett b Evans 14 (WI 54-2)

Shai Hope with a wallop towards deep long on off the bowling of Brad Evans but comes up short of clearing the boundary.

Brian Bennett rushes round and takes a superb diving catch on the move before rising to his feet in celebration.

    Let off some steam, Bennett.

  12. WI 54-2published at 5.4 overs

    Close for Zimbabwe.

A short-pitched delivery from Brad Evans and Shai Hope cloths it over mid-on but just over the fielder.

Hope is decidedly crisper with his strokeplay a couple of balls later when he thumps Evans through the covers for four.

Shai Hope has just struggled for timing really. He is trying to overplay his shots right now, but he just needs to get through this little phase.

He is an important batter for West Indies. These pitches tend to get slower and lower as the innings go on, so if he can provide that glue, stick it out for 14 or 15 overs and go at better than a run per ball, it allows the others to come in and bat with freedom.

  14. WI 46-1published at 5 overs

Lovely stuff from Shai Hope, who strokes a cover drive off the final delivery of Richard Ngarava's over.

Still room for some beautiful strokeplay amid the crash, bang, wallop of T20 cricket.

Everything going the way of West Indies at the moment.

A bit of an ugly slash from Shimron Hetmyer off left-arm quick Richard Ngarava and the ball races away for four through backward point.

Next ball, the West Indies left-hander is a lot more commanding, though. Hetmyer pummels Ngarava for four through mid-wicket.

I'm tempted to put a cheeky bet on Zimbabwe winning the World Cup. 10 years ago, Leicester City did the unthinkable - so why not Zimbabwe?

Shimron Hetmyer has been one of the form players for West Indies at this World Cup with scores of 64, 23, 46* and 1.

How costly will that drop prove?

Tashinga Musekiwa has made a complete horlicks of that, hasn't he?!

We always talk about batting execution, but you have to be precise in the field in this game.

  19. Hetmyer dropped on ninepublished at 3.3 overs

Short from Blessing Muzarabani and the left-hander Shimron Hetmyer whips it down past fine leg for four.

Next ball and Hetmyer flicks it off his body in the air but it's not quite off the middle of the bat and it's heading to a yellow shirt.

Tashinga Musekiwa fumbles the catch tumbling forward at deep square.

Muzarabani has his head in hands.

  20. WI 22-1published at 3 overs

    Classy start from Shimron Hetmyer.

A casual chip off his pads to a delivery from Richard Ngarava and the ball races away for four.
