  7. 'Really bad drop'published at 14:32 BST

    Ed Joyce
Former Ireland women's coach on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 3

Thats a really bad drop from Abhishek Sharma. That was a simple catch dropped. It was like one of the catches you'd practice before with the fielding coach.

  8. Ire 78-4published at 11.0 overs

A good over for Ireland off the spinner Axar Patel, although they do get lucky on the last ball.

Two singles are followed by a fine six from Lorcan Tucker, who produces a straight lofted drive.

Abhishek Sharma then drops a dolly catch from Gareth Delany's shot that went up and under.

  9. Competitive total looking unlikelypublished at 14:27 BST

    Ed Joyce
Former Ireland women's coach on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra 3

We are at the halfway stage now. One of these batsmen need to stay in and be around with three or four overs to go. It doesn't look at this stage as if a competitive total is on the cards for Ireland.

Gareth Delany loves that shot down the ground. He executes it very well. It has always been a strength of his.

Positive thinking Steve. A good point well made! We can but hope for some history on Sunday.

Today was a perfect opportunity to have the young lad involved. They didn't need all the spinners and I'm sure someone like Washington Sundar wouldn't have been missed.
