I thought Pineiro was excellent, she really asked many questions of Lauren. The two have different styles, it will be a tough one for the judges.

It must make a difference when you've got all that blood on you.

Huge cheers for both fighters from the crowd here who have been thoroughly entertained.

Someone has to lose their zero tonight, what a way for it to go after this scrap.

    What a fight.

Few gave Pineiro much of a chance tonight but the Puerto Rican came to cause an upset and has given a great account of herself.

Price still fighting well and Pineiro looking tired and slower now, but both working hard.

    Price v Pineiro

Price circles away. The champion is happy to stay out of range.

She decides to step in and engage for a moment but is quicky back on the outskirts of the ring.

Pineiro attempts to stalk but can't close the distance.

A blood-soaked Price gets to the bell and looks to have done enough.

    A great contest.

Wow. Going into this final round, these two women, absolutely phenomenal. The heart, the desire, it's absolutely incredible. What a final round we have. It really takes some mental fortitude and fitness to keep competing at this level for this many rounds.

    Respectful until the end.

Both fighters have spoken very respectfully to each other this week and the tenth round begins with a glove touch and a hug in the centre of the ring.

  8. Round tenpublished at 21:57 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

    Final two minutes.

I think Pineiro needs a knockout to win.

Can Price box smart to see it out?

  9. Pineiro 'slugging'published at 21:56 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

    Stacey Copeland
Retired boxer speaking on BBC Two

Pineiro continues to come forward and just slugging those straight shots to Lauren Price, she's had so many straight to the face. But, that is a part of being a boxer, you know what you're going to face and once that adrenaline is pumping, you're just focused on what you need to do to win.

  10. Round ninepublished at 21:56 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

They've both expended a lot of energy at this point but there remains a fair bit of sting in their punches.

There's a big cheer from the crowd as Price, who was backed up to the ropes, steps to the side to slip a punch and exits with a counter hook.

Pineiro ends the round chasing the champion.

This is the best ever fight I've seen from Pineiro. It's a real tough one for Lauren, she's picking up a few injuries and she's doing a great job fighting through that.

Am I the only one thinking Price looks a bit rattled here? Pineiro doesn’t look fazed by her punches and is walking through most of them. My money is on things turning here.

  13. Round eightpublished at 21:54 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

Pineiro presses the issue further but Price times her counter hook to perfection to stem the attack for a moment.

Price seems to be biting on feints a little more than she usually would but that feels fair enough due to the damage she has sustained.

Stephanie Pineiro is doing her best to ruin Lauren Price's wedding photos here as the Welsh fighter's face continues to bleed.

Price will get married on 30 May, I'm not sure we were expecting to see her face taking shots like this.

Even so, Price's punches are the ones that are really landing with venom.

The last two rounds, Stephanie has put her [Lauren] through the fight of her life. It's been great so far.

  17. Round sevenpublished at 21:50 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

Price is definitely having to think a lot more about the shots she executes in this bout due to the injuries she has sustained. There is heavy swelling under her eye and the blood continues to pour from her mouth.

Pineiro smiles as she stands her ground and continues to pick away at the champion.

    It's such an exciting watch.

A strong close to the round for Price with either sweat or blood splattering from Price's gloves as she connects with Pineiro's face with a flurry of punches.

Price is definitely going to win this fight in the 8 round by a knockout because price is just nailing Pineiro. All of Lauren’s punches are all landing.

  20. Round sixpublished at 21:47 BST 4 April

    Price v Pineiro

Into the second half of the contest and Price, for me, has won at least four of the opening five rounds if not all five of them.

Pineiro is sensing there could be an opportunity to cause an upset here.

The Puerto Rican has Price backing off momentarily but the champion comes on strong in the final seconds to end the round on top.
