    Chisora v Wilder

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at the O2 Arena

Please mind the gap - Derek Chisora made his way to the O2 via the London Underground. Did he tap in? Does he have an Oyster card? I am guessing there was nowhere to park the army tank this time.

  2. Predictions - 'Chisora by stoppage'published at 22:30 BST 4 April

Joe Calzaghe - former world champion:

"It's a tough fight to call. I really like 'Del Boy', I still remember him coming and training in our gym and my dad making him very ill doing runs up and down our steps. I'm not sure how much either of these guys have left in the tank if I am honest, I think it is one of those fights that could go either way and will probably end with one punch. I'm going to side with Derek on this one."

Natasha Jonas - former two-weight world champion:

"Surely it's ending in a knockout. I'd love to see Derek get the win but I also do fear a win keeps him in the mix and he stays for more fights. I do think, for safety reasons more than anything, that this should be his last fight. But I feel like I say that every time.

"Both men have got a chance. Chisora has been through the harder fights and more longevity in his career, but then again Wilder isn't coming off the best results. If I was pushed to make a decision, I'd go with Chisora."

    Harlem Eubank - welterweight boxer:

"I am going to edge to Chisora on Saturday. At this stage of their careers, he is a bit more compact and I think he will be able to grind Wilder down, sit on his chest, and let heavy shots go. I think it'll be Chisora, by stoppage, in the second half of the fight."

  3. Good evening from London’s O2 Arenapublished at 22:29 BST 4 April

    Chisora v Wilder

    Kal Sajad
BBC Sport at the O2 Arena

It has been 6,986 days since Dereck Chisora made his professional debut.

In that time he has won 36 fights (23 by knockout), lost 13, been stopped four times and fought 346 rounds.

With numbers like that, it’s fair to call 'Del Boy' a true veteran.

Tonight is his 50th - and, he says, final - professional bout. Whatever happens, many in boxing will hope he sticks to that plan. Those numbers also tell the story of the punishment he has absorbed over two decades in the ring. At 42, surely it’s time.

This one probably goes one of two ways. Chisora bulldozes forward and overwhelms him or Deontay Wilder digs deep and unleashes that famous right hand one more time.

  4. Win or lose, I'd like Chisora to retirepublished at 22:28 BST 4 April

    Chisora v Wilder

    Fabio Wardley
    WBO heavyweight champion

Derek Chisora has given his heart and soul to the sport. Whether he beats Deontay Wilder or not on Saturday, I'd like to see him call it a day. After all the entertainment he has given us, he deserves to sit down and have five minutes to himself.

But will he actually retire? Well, your guess is as good as mine.

It's a difficult decision for anyone. It's hard to go out on a loss because you want to end your career on a high, but then once you do end on a high, you think, 'well, if I did that, maybe I can do one more'.

It can become a never-ending cycle of 'maybe one more' and Derek's been on that cycle for I don't know how long.

As a fellow fighter, I do have concerns for boxers in every fight. You see people in their first 10 bouts where something dramatic can happen, or in their last 10. It's a risk no matter where you are at with your career.

With someone like Derek though, not many people are going to be able to tell him when he should stop. He's going to dictate his own time and terms.

  5. Chisora coming to the end of the linepublished at 22:27 BST 4 April

    Chisora v Wilder

Derek Chisora first walked into a ring as a professional almost exactly 19 years ago and the he's finally - or so we're told - about to bring the curtain down on his career.

It's a career that has spanned 49 bouts and 346 rounds.

Chisora has held the British heavyweight title, competed for world honours and fought almost every big name you could think of; Tyson Fury (three times), Vitali Klitschko, Oleksandr Usyk to name a few.

Two-time world champion Anthony Joshua is in the house. Deontay Wilder just walked straight past AJ in the corridors of the O2.

Joshua looked up from his phone and Wilder did not even make eye contact, walking straight past his long-term rival.

Joshua gave a short, menacing look while Eddie Hearn just smirked.

Price vs Pineiro was a cracking fight. Thought Price deserved the win...but it was closer than 99 91 98 92 98 92. Now for the heavy weights...hope Del Boy wins...not convinced though.

Fighters, of course, always want to get in and out the ring without sustaining any major damage and that's not been the case for Lauren Price tonight.

But - and this might be a stretch - she might look back on this bout in a few days time as a bit of a blessing.

She came through with the win and had to come through adversity - struggling to breath and with blood pouring from her mouth.

We saw another dimension from the champion tonight.
