That was an entertaining dust-up between British cruiserweight Jack Massey and Argentine Ivan Gabriel Garcia.

Garcia beat the count and protested the stoppage, but his jelly legs and unsteady sway as he returned to his corner told the story. It was absolutely the right call.

Francesca Hennessy is looking to extend her undefeated record to seven when she faces former atomweight world champion Fabiana Bytyqi.

The 21-year-old has been surrounded by boxing her entire life.

Her father, Mick, who is her manager, was one of the most influential boxing promoters, working with Tyson Fury, Chris Eubank Jr and Carl Froch.

Hennessy made her professional debut in 2023 and has already featured on some marquee cards, including on the undercard of the cruiserweight world title bout between Chris Billam-Smith and Richard Riakporhe at Selhurst Park.

Nicknamed the 'Billion Dollar Baby', Hennessy is already building a following with her high-energy ringwalks going viral.

Jack Massey has just wrapped up victory over Ivan Gabriel in that cruiserweight contest - sealing a stunning knockout win with a beautiful left hook.

Massey was knocked down in the third but regrouped to get back in the win column.

He's just called out former cruiserweight world champion and fellow Briton Chris Billam-Smith in his post-fight interview.

Next up is the co-main between Francesca Hennessy and Fabiana Bytyqi.

  10. Can tonight inspire the next generation?published at 18:05 GMT 29 November 2025

BBC Sport at Vaillant Live, Derby

    Hello from Derby.

Live professional boxing on BBC linear TV for the first time in 20 years. It can only be good for the sport.

Free-to-air boxing is how so many of us fell in love with it: Prince Naseem Hamed, Nigel Benn, Chris Eubank Sr… all those nights on ITV.

If tonight inspires even a handful of kids to lace up gloves and wander into a local gym, who knows, maybe there’s a future Anthony Joshua or Tyson Fury Fury in the bunch.

And as Frazer Clarke told me this week, the sport can change lives. The real win might be what boxing can do for their wellbeing.

Tonight's card - headlined by a British heavyweight title bout between Frazer Clarke and Jeamie TKV - in Derby is live on BBC Two.

It marks the beginning of the BBC's broadcast partnership with promotion Boxxer and is the first time in 20 years professional boxing has been on primetime linear BBC television.
