Summary

  1. Round sixpublished at 21:31 GMT 29 November 2025

    Clarke v TKV

Bruising shots as they exchange hooks to the body and head in the corner. So much of the fight has played out at close quarters.

What's the gameplan here? Hope the other fighter gets fatigued and land a big shot?

Good work from TKV as he leads with an overhand right and follows with a left hook. Another left hook from TKV to punctuate the round.

Might be TKV's best round so far.

Ref, this is the first fight back on the BBC. We need it to go well. Don’t disqualify TKV for borderline low shots, especially when Clarke’s going low as well.

  3. Round fivepublished at 21:27 GMT 29 November 2025

    Clarke v TKV

We might have just seen the first jab of the fight.

There are further warnings for both fighters as they clinch and start to grapple. Referee John Latham's patience is wearing thin.

I've got Clarke winning four rounds to one - TKV also had a point deducted - but some of them have been tight, so it'll be interesting to see how the judges have scored it if we get that far.

Both fighters are having success at really close distances and managing to generate power.

No one seems like they have been stunned yet, but it only takes one shot from guys of this size.

TKV needs to be careful with the body shots. He doesn't want to have any more points docked.

  5. Round fourpublished at 21:22 GMT 29 November 2025

    Clarke v TKV

Clarke starts the round with a nicely timed uppercut.

But a few of Clarke's body shots stray low and he gets a couple of warnings from the referee.

Clarke gets to work on the ropes but his shots seem to be coming off TKV's gloves. TKV peeks through and sticks out his tongue.

TKV eats an uppercut to get into position and swing a hulking hook over the top. Risk and reward.

I thought Clarke was going to win this early, but TKV had the better of the second round and is landing some heavy shots. We know Clarke can get KO’d - if TKV keeps landing we could have a shock on our hands.

  7. Round threepublished at 21:19 GMT 29 November 2025

    Clarke v TKV

Chins are being tested on both sides now.

A short hook from TKV lands before Clarke responds with one of his own and it sends his opponents' gumshield flying.

It's not a technical bout by any stretch but competitive and has the feeling any shot could be fight-ending.

It becomes a bit scrappy in the final 20 seconds and referee John Latham steps in to call timeout. There's a word to TKV but not entirely sure why.

They restart but just seconds later the referee stops it again and deducts a point from TKV for persistent low blows.

Clarke's corner urge their fighter to stay switched on. He was having the run of things in round one but, as George Groves says, TKV is timing the counter much better now.

TKV has been better in round two. He has covered the shots better, not letting the uppercuts get through and trying to counter from them.

TKV is backed up again and Clarke leans on him with only the ropes to hold them up. That's over 240kg of combined weight - I'd be a bit worried if I was the photographer below!

    Anyway, back to the boxing.

Clarke continues to do good work in close with short hooks to the body and he is utilising the uppercut really well.

But TKV is starting to have some success now too and catches Clarke with a couple of clean hooks. There is some blood around the nose of Clarke.

    Highly-entertaining stuff now.

    George Groves

Clarke is landing the far more effective work here.

TKV needs to get himself safe when he is this close because Clarke is taking advantage with the body shots and right uppercuts right through his guard.

Clarke tried to touch gloves with TKV when the bell rang at the end of the round but TKV wasn't interested.

    Clarke v TKV

Lots of clinching but when there is space it's Clarke who is doing the better work with short shots.

Clarke rocks TKV's head back with a right hook as he leans on the ropes and then attacks the body.

It looks like TKV takes a low blow but there aren't any complaints and the referee didn't spot it.

Oh! Clarke sneaks through with an uppercut and the crowd spring into action.

Clarke is the 'home' fighter tonight. He hails from Burton Upon Trent - just 10 miles or so from Derby - and the majority of support seems to be in his favour.

Off we go for this British heavyweight title bout.

    How long will it last?

Please, more of George Groves on boxing commentary. Speaks sense and his experience adds gravitas, him and Richie Woodhall with the Bunce, would be a dream trio.

We are loving George too! Ellie Scotney also doing great work!

    Clarke v TKV

British heavyweight Frazer Clarke says he is taking inspiration from former foe Fabio Wardley and believes he still has what it takes to become a world champion.

Clarke, 34, drew with Wardley - who is now the WBO world champion - in March 2024 before being knocked out in the first round of their rematch seven months later.

"If Fabio can do it - he has two arms and two legs like me, works hard like me, he's a fighter like me - why can't I?" Clarke told BBC Sport.

"Why can't everyone else? This is to everyone in the sport. Keep grinding, keep going. If you work hard enough and with a little bit of luck it will come."

We grabbed Frazer Clarke during fight week, and I made the mistake of starting a question with: “If you beat Jeamie on Saturday…”

“Watch your mouth with these ifs,” he told me.

Let’s just say when a 20-stone heavyweight tells you to mind yourself, you suddenly develop perfect posture.

    Clarke v TKV

Clarke is hoping it's third time lucky as he goes for the British heavyweight title again.

He's so eager to get into the ring that he tries to enter on the wrong side and is redirected.

He'll be hoping that's the only mistake he makes from here on out.
