  1. Round fourpublished at 22:20 GMT 21 February

    Wood v Warrington 2

We're yet to get the fireworks we hoped for but it's bubbling along nicely.

Wood steps aside from a wild Warrington hook but the Leeds fighter follows with another and finds his chin.

The Nottingham fighter continues to keep his hands low. Warrington only has eight knockouts from his 32 wins - maybe Wood isn't worried about his power?

They meet in the middle and Wood finds a way through with an uppercut.

    Wood v Warrington 2

Wood gets a warning from the referee. Not entirely sure what that was for but we're back under way and Warrington goes straight after him.

Wood is forced on to the ropes as Warrington unloads. The best sequence of the fight.

Warrington sticks out his tongue and then smiles as Wood lands with a looping right.

I think Warrington needs to throw a few more shots and not worry about landing a big left hook. Wood has got the pattern at the moment: elusive, quick shots, move.

    Richie Woodhall

Wood is working very well on the outside. He's slowed the pace down. Warrington is waiting probably a little bit too long. He needs to use his jab a little more. The Nottingham fighter has his hands very, very relaxed and is boxing a very sensible contest.

    Wood v Warrington 2

Wood looks confident with his hands down low and flicking out the jab.

But Warrington comes with intent and lands a heavy left. There is some blood from the nose of Wood and smeared across his cheek.

A smile from Warrington as he comes forward and finds a home with a right hook.

Wood is lazy with a jab and Warrington sets him back on his heels with a straight right down the middle.

Warrington looks a little bit too fired up for my liking. Wood looks relaxed.

  8. Round onepublished at 22:08 GMT 21 February

    Wood v Warrington 2

Warrington was quickest out the gate in the first meeting and he takes the entre of the ring.

It's Wood who looks the more active though, throwing out the jab as Warrington sits behind the gloves.

Warrington looks like he's struggling to find his rhythm. He goes running after Wood but doesn't land with any great success.

Warrington looks ready to go into battle. He's been calm and composed throughout this week. He's waited two-and-a-half years for the chance to right that wrong.

I've been looking forward to this one for weeks.

Two all-action fighters with little - if any love for each other - in the twilight of their careers and desperate to go out on a high.

No surprises to hear boos for Josh Warrington as his record is read out.

It's maybe more surprising that it's largely boos for Leigh Wood too. Those Leeds fans are doing their bit.

There is absolutely no doubt Wood and Warrington will go to the deepest depths of their soul for this sell-out crowd in Nottingham. As I said, two massive fanbases, two stalwarts of British boxing, who have always given every ounce of their soul and will do exactly the same tonight.

'So strong' by Labi Siffre follows for the walk to the ring. Big tune.
