The Jags are doing well out there at the moment. They want the little guys coming out and trying to tackle, forcing the rest of the defence to cover. There's been some positive signs from them so far.

And there it is! It takes two plays but the Jaguars punch it in thanks to wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr who catches a touchdown pass from Trevor Lawrence to put the Jags ahead.

Just a third touchdown of the season for Thomas who hasn't managed to perform like last season but that is a crucial score just when his side needed it.

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

That big run is the end of the first quarter in Jacksonville and the hosts will be running a first down from the three-yard line when we return.

Buffalo's rush defence has been iffy of late and the Jags are exposing it big time.

  5. The Tuten showpublished at 18:32 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

It's the Bhayshul Tuten show here as the Jags running back takes three straight hand-offs and turns them into runs of 20, 14 and 13 yards and almost finds the end zone.

  6. ouch!

Allen clearedpublished at 18:30 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Josh Allen was evaluated for concussion after that heavy challenge a bit earlier, but he's been passed fit to continue in the game.

    And breathe Buffalo fans....

  7. 'Coen the ultimate players coach'published at 18:29 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

    Ndamukong Suh
Former NFL defensive tackle and 2021 Super Bowl winner on Sky Sports

Liam Coen is an ultimate players coach. As an elite coach you've got to be able to manage your players and tell them the great things they do but also have to challenge them.

He's done such a good job with the team this year.

  8. Back to Trevorpublished at 18:29 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Trevor Lawrence gets an early first down to Brenton Strange - who's a vastly underrated tight end, one of the true all rounders who cna block but has great hands too.

    Watch out for him today.

  9. Allen in the tentpublished at 18:28 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Josh Allen has just gone into the dreaded blue tent on the sideline to get evaluated after that heavy tackle before the field goal.

Bills Mafia collectively holding their breath.

  10. 'Bills need to establish the run'published at 18:26 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

    Phoebe Schecter
    BBC Sport NFL columnist

The Bills are going to have to stay ahead of schedule and establish the run early and get those point off turnovers. They don't have to play to get those sevens every time, they can pick up the threes.

Coen spoke above keeping the let it rip mentality. Play free, play without fear and that is what's going to help them play with confidence.

  11. field goal

Field goal - Billspublished at 18:26 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

The long field goal got a big longer after a delay of game penalty so it's a 50-yarder for kicker Matt Prater - as a 19-year veteran he's been playing in the NFL almost as long as I've been writing about it...

Prater's still got it though as he sends it high over the bar and between the posts for an early Bills lead.

  12. Allen stuffedpublished at 18:24 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Josh Allen keeps the ball on a designed QB run on third down, but the Jags are having none of it and he gets gang tackled and driven into the ground.

His helmet comes off and he walks rather gingerly to the sideline as the Bills will have to settle for a long field goal try.

  13. Interception!published at 18:21 GMT 11 January

Trevor Lawrence had a warning when his pass down the middle was tipped by Parker Washington and almost intercepted.

But he didn;t heed that warning as on the very next play Lawrence telegraph's his pass and Shaq Thompson jumps on it to collect the interception.

Buffalo take over on the Jags 40 in superb position.

  14. Jags moving the ballpublished at 18:20 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Travis Etienne heavily involved in this second Jags possession, collecting a 10-yard pass just short of the sticks and then converting on a 12-yard run.

  15. 'Lawrence one of best in league'published at 18:17 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Trevor Lawrence has been balling since week 11, one of the best quarterbacks in the league. If you give him the ball, he wants to be aggressive, he gets the yards. He's made the Jaguars offensive identity explode.

Trevor is aggressive and he knows the skills set of his wide receivers, this is why their offence is so hard to stop. I'm excited to see how they get on tonight, straight balling!

  16. Postpublished at 18:16 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Former Jacksonville Jaguar Fred Taylor speaking to Sky Sports: "This brings back a lot of memories, even in the parking lot, back in the day you couldn't find a space and today it's the same thing."

"It's been tough decision after tough decision the entire season but we've found ourselves in the play-offs. The expectations coming into the season were very high but they've managed those expectations very well."

  17. Little can go largepublished at 18:16 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

    Media caption,

Jacksonville kicker Cam Little explains the small details behind a field goal attempt.

Jaguars kicker Cam Little not only holds the NFL record for the longest field goal ever, but he's got the second best as well as he's nailed both a 68 and 67 yarder this season.

So the Bills defence better watch out as almost nowhere is safe from Little's huge leg!

Trevor Lawrence doesn't need too many yards to get his cannon-legged kicker into range.

  18. Bills puntpublished at 18:15 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

Josh Allen can't connect with Dalton Kincaid as the ball just hits his fingertips when crossing the field - Allen looks at him as if he should've been further along in his route than that.

The passing game has been the biggest weakness for the Bills all season - Allen really hasn't got the depth in talent a lot of other play-off teams have.

Take the Jags for instance, they've got a much better receiving corps.

  19. Allen escapespublished at 18:12 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

From almost sacked Josh Allen scrambles out of a collapsing pocket and manages to pick up seven yards. He's so hard to pin down for pass rushers with his freakish size and speed.

  20. 'Allen can create something out of nothing'published at 18:11 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 0-0 Jacksonville Jaguars - first quarter

    Phoebe Schecter
    BBC Sport NFL columnist

When there's nothing left out there on the field, you can trust Josh Allen to bring something and create an offense from nothing.
