Josh Allen smashed his hand on a defender helmet on the last drive, and on the touchdown it looked like his left leg got bent the wrong way at the knee.

So that meant a second visit to the blue tent for the Bills quarterback but he's emerged and sat down back on the bench.

These hits are piling up though...

What's so amazing about Josh Allen is the velocity in which he throws the football. There's so much speed and velocity and defenders aren't used to that so it usually just cuts through their hands.

As mentioned there's no Chiefs, Ravens or Bengals in this year's play-offs.

And Aaron Rodgers aside, it's mostly untested quarterbacks with little play-off experience.

Is this Josh Allen's best chance of reaching a Super Bowl with the Bills? What do you think?

The adrenaline right now might give Josh Allen the ability to throw it but I can tell you, as the game wears on, you will feel that.

Allen got hit hard, this is a very physical Jacksonville defence.

  5. touchdown

Guess who? Josh Allen with a designed QB keeper and he's far too big and strong for the Jags tacklers as he barges over for the touchdown.

That's a 15th rushing touchdown of the season for Allen and his 40th in total and yet again he puts his team on his broad shoulders after James Cook failed to punch it in from short yardage.

Allen's a huge specimen of a quarterback though and he takes some stopping from that range. Allen being Superman again.

But at what cost? He looks like he's injured again....

  6. Big play!published at 18:58 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

Keon Coleman somehow finds himself wide open and then after taking the catch walks through a weak tackle and races down inside the 10 for a huge 36-yard gain.

    First and goal Bills.

The Jags have such a strong defense. If I were the Bills, most of the time I'd take the three points and move on instead of trying to go for those sevens.

Brandin Cooks, a late season pick-up to add some receiver depth, gets a first down on a 12-yard reception.

James Cook is back in the game, that's the good news but the bad news is his rush attempt is abruptly halted at the line of scrimmage for no gain.

I like the Jags defence, it's very strong. It does a good job of forcing turnovers and forcing you to make decisions.

  10. Cook hobbling...published at 18:53 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

James Cook gets his first big run of the day of 11 yards but he's slow to get up and then limps off the field - that could be a huge problem for Buffalo.

And the Bills get the call for instead of facing the possibility of conceding a touchdown Buffalo get away without any further damage on the scoreboard.

The visitors also get away with that fumble and only time will tell whether Liam Coen was right to go for it on fourth down and not kick the field goal.

Josh Allen is back out onto the field.

  13. First down?published at 18:47 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

A virtual measurement gives Trevor Lawrence the first down, but it looks like his shin hits the deck with him still short, as his foot slips when he's trying to dive.

The Jags aren't quick enough to get a play off and Sean McDermott throws a red challenge flag and this will surely be overturned.

Trevor Lawrence has been so decisive with the ball. it's just one, two, get rid of it. The way the ball has been jumping out of his hands has been phenomenal.

  15. Fourth down try....published at 18:45 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

Trevor Lawrence takes off for a run but is brought down just a couple of yards short of the marker - that brings up fourth down and Lian Coen is rolling the dice on the Buffalo nine-yard line.

  16. Sack!published at 18:44 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

Both of today's quarterbacks were sacked a lot during the season, with Trevor Lawrence dropepd one more time (41-40) and he goes down first here thanks to Greg Rousseau's tackle.

That was the concern for Bills fans coming in, that a team could wear you down in the run game and keep you on the sideline.

The Bills have been the number one rushing offence but if Jacksonville runs the ball like they are right now, this game will be short and very fast for Buffalo.

Are we watching this season's coach of the year in action right now?

The Jags were 4-13 last season but Liam Coen has flipped that record around in his first year as a head coach.

The Patriots' Mike Vrabel, in action in tonight's late game at home to the Chargers, might have something to say about that.

    Who are you taking?

  20. Fumble! Jags ballpublished at 18:40 GMT 11 January

Buffalo Bills 3-7 Jacksonville Jaguars - second quarter

Just as we're wondering how Josh Allen will respond, he doesn't even get onto the field!

That's because Ray Davis fumbles the kick-off return and the Jaguars recover at the Buffalo 35 for what is a colossal turnover by the second-best team in the NFL for creating them.
