Somebody check on Dontayvion Wicks' hands as Jordan Love has just fired in an absolute rocket that the receiver did brilliant to catch for an 18-yard gain.

Jordan Love fumbles the ball when he pulls out of an RPO, then picks up the ball and attempts a pass straight away! It's incomplete but a nice heads-up play from the quarterback.

Great low catch by Christian Watson running out to the right to convert another third down just beyond the first down marker.

And just to be clear folks, centre Frank Ragnow retired in the off-season but has has rejoined the Lions this week. The 29-year-old's first chance to play will come in next Thursday's game at home to Dallas.

David Montgomery pounds the rock this time, and he takes Detroit inside the 10, and then right up to the three with a third and goal coming up.

And there's some passing from Jared Goff! A dart over the middle to Tom Kennedy and into the red zone.

Kennedy was only promoted to the roster today due to all the Lions' injuries, but he's making the most of it so far.

Jahmyr Gibbs with a typically brutal run, battling through tacklers and racing away from Micah Parsons for 18 yards and a first down.

Gibbs has to get the ball as often as possible, but to do that Jared Goff has to get some passing going to keep the Packers defence honest.

Jared Goff finally completes a pass, and with Amon-Ra St Brown out, Jameson Williams has to really step up - as he does here with a 23-yard catch and run.

Dontayvion Wicks is getting treatment on the sideline after his knee and ankle took a nasty blow on that catch - he did so well to keep hold of it.

Brian Branch breaks up a pass for Christian Watson, and the Packers will go for it on 4th & 2...

The first quarter ends with Alex Anzalone stopping Josh Jacobs in his tracks for a loss of two yards.

Green Bay lead then by just the field goal, but they've been pretty dominant with Detroit having just 10 yards of offence so far - Jared goff officially has zero passing yards as he's yet to complete a pass.

The Lions jump offside at the snap and, as every good quarterback should, Jordan Love knows he's got a free play so launches a deep ball to Romeo Doubs.

The pass is batted away but the pently gives Green Bay a first down at the Detroit 29.

Huge run from Josh Jacobs who waits patiently behind the line for a block then quickly bursts out to the left and sprints away for a 29-yard gain.

Great run from Jacobs and again some decent blocking.

Amon-Ra St Brown is questionable to return to the game with what looks like an ankle injury, having had a couple of his own team roll up on his legs as he blocked.

He didn't look good limping off the field - so it looks like a massive blow for Detroit.

Jared Goff goes down and guess who! Yes of course Micah Parsons involved, although he'll share that one with Kingsley Enagbare.

Parsons now has 6.5 sacks in Thanksgiving games, having had six in four games with Dallas, including at least 1.5 sacks in each of his past three games on the holiday.

Jahmyr Gibbs gets a first down thanks to a lot of help from his friends, with a rolling maul developing and it just rolls on and on until finally collapsing.

Surprised the refs let it run on for that long before blowing the whistle.

Uh oh - Amon-Ra St Brown goes down injured after trying to block on a Jahmyr Gibbs run, and he's being treated by the training staff.

Detroit to not want to lose their star receiver.

Another big hit, this time from Detroit's Terrion Arnold on Chris Brooks, stops the Packers in their tracks on third down so Dan Whelan has to punt it away.

It's a nice return from Tom Kennedy for Detroit though, who runs it back 21 yards to the Detroit 37.
