An toil leat an duilleag-sa?
Cuir gu caraid i!

Munro's lesson for February
- Introductions :: page 5

And finally, here's how to ask questions about other people....that gorgeous Gael who's eyes met yours across the crowded cèilidh, for example.

You want to know who they are, and here's how you find out:

The simplest way is to use Cò - who?

Cò tha sin?

(Who's that?)

e?

(Who's he?)

i?

(Who's she?)

iad?

(Who are they?)

But, you could also ask:

Dè an t-ainm a tha air?

(What's his name?)

Dè an t-ainm a tha oirre?

(What's her name?)

Dè na h-ainmean a tha orra?

(What's their names?)

Well, that's it for this month folks -

practise what you've learnt so far and you'll soon be making new friends wherever you go.
