KS3 Ethical Fashion

Employability - Working in Fashion

Introduction to the Employability Unit

In this short unit, the class will look at some of the roles within fashion and the skills needed to work in the industry.  The second part of the unit is an enterprise project, where the class will form their own ethical fashion company and source and sell a T-shirt or sweatshirt.  The project will require a budget, and some research should be carried out beforehand to ensure that the budget for the project is appropriate.  The art and design department may be able to help facilitate the printing of the T-shirts, therefore reducing some of the cost.
