Have you been fruit picking this summer?

From strawberries to blackberries, this is a great time of year to get outside and enjoy some tasty treats.

Lots of farms and fruit-picking spots across the UK are welcoming visitors, so you might have had a go yourself.

Perhaps you've been growing fruit in your garden, allotment or somewhere else? Wherever you've been picking, we want to hear from you!

Different fruits are ready to pick at different times of the year.

In the UK, plenty of berries such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries are in season during the summer months.

While other fruits such as apples, pears and some plums, are more likely to be ready towards the end of summer and into early autumn.

If you're visiting a farm or fruit-picking place, make sure you follow their instructions about what you can pick.

Never eat or pick fruit, berries or other plants that you aren't sure are safe, especially if you've found them growing in the wild.

And it's also a good idea to wash any fruit before eating it.
