Today we aim to connect communities and generations with an inspirational celebration of music at events taking place throughout the UK.

There will be a unique musical relay along Hadrian's Wall , a record-breaking duet attempt in Wales and a BBC Music Night concert live from Glasgow , where The One Show will be broadcasting from this evening.

Public performances are taking place in Belfast, Bradford, Bristol, Cardiff, Glasgow, Liverpool and Plymouth , with coverage across BBC TV, radio and online.
