  4. Jason Pore: 'I am what I have chosen to be'published at 19:32 BST 9 May 2016

Jason shares how he feels after being chosen for the Invictus Games.

New Zealand captain Jason Pore reckons his team are the "dark horse of the competition". However, the sitting volleyball player, who is also taking part in the rowing and wheelchair basketball events, feels most strongly about meeting his competitors off the pitch, and sharing their experiences of recovery.

    Quote Message

On the field, or on the course, I'm passionate about being competitive and I just hate everyone! My main thing for myself personally, is what's happening off the field. It gives us a chance to look at what challenges we've had... what coping measures ladies and guys have put in place to try and recover from either physical difficulties, or things that they carry deep inside them.

    Quote Message

Every country, we sit down and we talk... With psychologists, there's no connection... I can pass on some of my experiences and say what's worked for me and share my experiences as well.
