This
is a view of Shibden Hall's Folk Museum, including various
old-fashioned shops, a blacksmith's and a tiny pub.
Sadly, it's closing time!
The
house was first built in 1420 and for over 300 years
it was the home of the Lister family. Many generations
of people and their families lived and worked there.
The house has many objects of many dates showing how
people lived throughout Shibdens time as a family
home. Shibden Hall is set in 90 acres of parkland with
a range of attractions including woodland, walks, an
orienteering course, childrens rides, miniature
railway, pitch and putt and a boating lake.
