This 360 is taken from inside the Saloon at Nostell
Priory just outside Wakefield. As you can tell it's
rich in history!
Don't
be deceived by the name, Nostell Priory is in fact a
stately home built in the eighteenth century for Sir
Rowland Winn. It's full of treasures, including a magnificent
collection of furniture from Otley lad Thomas Chippendale,
paintings from the likes of Brueghel, Angelica Kauffmann
and Gainsborough, and even an extremely rare clock made
by John Harrison of 'Longitude' fame.
The
property - including the grounds - is now owned by the
National Trust and is open to the public.
