End of the powerplay and it's a decent start for The Blaze. Surrey had more runs at this stage at 50-3, but were already three wickets down.

And then Surrey lost wickets seemingly every other over from thereafter.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 41-1

Kathryn Bryce with a nice little reverse paddle sweep from Kalea Moore to get off the mark, picking up two.

Bryce nudges around the corner for another single before Tammy Beaumont ends the sixth over by pushing it straight to backward point for no run.

Kalea Moore has taken plenty of wickets this season, she knows what she's doing, giving it a good rip with her off-spin.

Finally something to shout about for Surrey.

Sarah Bryce swipes across the line from Kalea Moore and misses it completely.

It clatters into middle stump and Bryce goes for 16 from 15 balls.

    In comes Kathryn Bryce.

Good strike rates for both Bryce and Beaumont, just going about their business, they are not under any real pressure here.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 38-0

Tilly Corteen-Coleman continues with left-arm spin for Surrey and Tammy Beaumont paddles a reverse sweep down to third for two.

Beaumont picks up another couple through the covers, swatting away a wide one.

A similar shot from the fifth delivery but this time it brings up a boundary for Beaumont, racing away for four through point.

Eight from the over for The Blaze and that will do nicely for them.

So far this is a very good powerplay from the Blaze.

    This is all very sensible.

The Blaze are on the chase.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 30-0

The Blaze are knocking these runs off pretty quickly so far.

Tammy Beaumont with a lovely flick past wide mid-on from Ryana MacDonald-Gay. All in the timing as it races away for four.

Beaumont and Sarah Bryce continue to rotate the strike and a misfield in the covers from Jemima Spence to allow a single won't help Surrey's cause.

Another 76 runs needed to win from 96 balls.

Tilly Corteen-Coleman has not actually played a lot of cricket lately.

Tammy Beaumont is an eager beaver out there, she's a busy cricketer.

She'll be relaxing a bit more after her first boundary.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 23-0

Lovely footwork from Tammy Beaumont as she dances down the track to Tilly Corteen-Coleman and thumps it low and hard down the ground for four before picking up a single.

Two singles apiece for Sarah Bryce and Beaumont to finish the over.

And already the run-rate required is below five an over.

That has already eaten into a huge chunk of the 106 The Blaze are chasing down for the win here.

If that hits that was miles out. Tammy Beaumont has absolutely barbecued Sarah Bryce there.

She wasn't even in the picture. It was a horrible run to get off the mark.

Risky running from The Blaze and Sarah Bryce is so close to being run out.

Tammy Beaumont, fresh from her retirement from international cricket, nudges to cover off Ryana MacDonald-Gay and Danni Wyatt-Hodge is in quickly but just misses the stumps with the throw. Bryce was a long way out if that had hit.

And then she makes the most of it by walking down and guiding away through the covers for four before smashing the final ball high over the rope for six at deep backward square.

    Surrey 105 v The Blaze 4-0

No need to go all guns blazing for the visitors here but that's not too bad a first over for Surrey.

Kalea Moore starts with four dots before Sarah Bryce pounces on a short one down the legside and smashes over square leg for four.

Here we go then. The Blaze are chasing down just 106 runs for victory.

They'll need to go at a modest 5.30 an over to knock them off and book a place in the final.

Can Surrey replicate The Blaze's bowling display and make this interesting? We're about to find out.

Kalea Moore to bowl the first over. Sarah Bryce to face with Tammy Beaumont opening alongside her.

Surrey 105 all out v The Blaze

Surrey's total of 105 is their lowest-ever in T20 Blast matches.

The average first innings score at the Oval this season has been 150.

And the team batting second on this ground has won all six matches in 2026.

Work to do for Surrey then.

The Blaze will be delighted with that. Surrey are going to have to pull something out the bag here with the ball to get themselves to a final and give themselves a chance to retain the title.

But from a batting point of view there, you don't have to try and smash every ball for four or six.

We'll see what The Blaze can do.

    That is that!

Charli Knott, again superb, claims her fourth with the second ball of her third over and brings the innings to a close with a little under five overs still out there.

Tilly Corteen-Coleman has a swipe in the hope of some lower order runs, but can only send the ball back to Knott, who claims the catch with glee.

The Blaze need a meagre 106 to reach the final. Surrey look well short at the midway stage.
