Alcohol is prohibited in some Arab countries, but did you know the word alcohol originally came from the Arabic 'al-kuhul'?
Slalom comes from the Norwegian word 'slalam' and literally means sloping track. It's now often used to describe a skiing race where people move around a series of poles, turning first one way and then the other.
