    Right, phew, what a day!

We'll have plenty more reaction from the skeleton to come but let's catch up with what's been happening elsewhere shall we?

There's a gold medal to be won in the women's ski jumping plus members of Team GB in action in the men's curling, figure skating, and men's big air qualifying.

It was short and sweet from our gold medallists in their post-race reaction with BBC Sport:

Tabby Stoecker said: "Thanks [Matt]. I can't believe it. It's a team effort and when Matt came down and we were in the green, I was just in shock."

Matt Weston added: "Luckily I felt like I knew what I needed to do. I took a load of confidence from the individual event and I almost had to 'be boring' to get the job done and do it again."

That was absolutely immaculate! He has been the cream of the crop of anybody on this track.

This is history. This is the first time GB have won three gold medals at a winter games.

He just keeps raising the bar to new standards, and that was absolutely nail-biting stuff when Tabby didn't quite give the run she wanted to give him a chance.

Matt Weston absolutely destroyed the field, and a lot of that was done in the first 50 meters.

He is the first Briton to win two gold medals at the same Winter Olympics. What an amazing achivement.

That was another good GB run again.

Marcus has been in a lot of the team races this year and has done exceptionally well in the world cup. He likes this dynamic.

That was a good reaction from him and a really tidy run. He has done the best he can and now we wait.

    Richard Winton
    BBC Sport Scotland in Cortina

BBC Sport pundit and former world champion Jackie Lockhart reckons there are "rogue stones" out there, which are not behaving quite as the players might expect.

Typically, the response to that is to make it one of the first of the eight stones thrown by a team in an end, where less precision is perhaps required.

That means Hammy McMillan or Bobby Lammie will be left to try and tame the wild one...
