    'We'll come back fighting'published at 21:09 GMT 16 February

Curling - GB women 6-10 Switzerland

GB curler Sophie Jackson: "It's a tough one to take, we played pretty well. There were a few misses that cost us, it's a bit of a gutting one. My two shots, we missed the guard and that's where the key misses were. Disappointed with that."

GB curler Rebecca Morrison: "I do tend to grow into the championship a bit. I'm feeling confident out there. We'll come back in a couple of days time and get some wins on the board."

"We thrive under pressure, you never know what could happen, we know it's not over. We have a day off tomorrow, we'll relax, have some time to ourselves and come back fighting."

Sui Wenjing and Han Cong have made a good fist of defending their Olympic title. A stronger free skate, scoring 135.98, puts them top of the leader board.

World champions Riku Miura and Ryuichi Kihara of Japan, who endured a difficult short program to qualify fifth for this free skate, are next up.

Lot of talk about GB athletes being unlucky. Sometimes you make your own luck. So many top ranked competitors, failing when it matters. If 4th counted, GB would be flying.

Sara Conti and Niccolo Macii had a really disrupted build up to their home Games, missing last month's European Championships due to injury.

Conti still has a bandage around her right knee, and you can tell they still aren't quite right with negative execution points on both of their triple toeloops.

There will be no Italian medal here.
