Skeleton - women's runs 3 & 4
If Tabby Stoecker is to return to the podium then she's going to have to make some ground on her final run.
Her third run comes in at 57.75 seconds, her slowest of the competition.
She remains fifth, her team-mate Freya Tarbit is up next.

There was nothing really wrong with the run from Susanne Kreher.
She just made a couple of small mistakes at the top and then it was trying to keep speed at the bottom.
There was one small mistake at the top of the track from Jacqueline Pfeifer but she lost so much speed from it. She had to drive it a lot more to create a line after that mistake.
It is a really good sign for Janine Flock.

These last five minutes have been the stuff of dreams for Janine Flock.
Skeleton - women's runs 3 & 4
A superb few minutes for leader Janine Flock.
The German trio of Susanne Kreher, Jacqueline Pfeifer and Hannah Neise, sat in second to fourth, all lose time to the leading Austrian.
Could this also open a window for Tabby Stoecker to return to the podium places?
She's up next.

As they have been most days the Brits are well backed at the sliding centre.
I saw plenty of people draped in Union Jack flags as I schlepped up the hill for the millionth time.
Honestly I’ll be like a mountain goat by the end of these three weeks.

I'm afraid this one is turning into a thrashing.
Finland lead by six and it could have been more - they have had 37 shots to Italy's six.
The Italians held their own in the first two games but are being taught a lesson today.

One thing I've said across the luge and skeleton so far is that you need to be consistent to be win medals and she has done that.
Skeleton - women's runs 3 & 4
Competition leader Janine Flock starts with a run of 57.26.
That's exactly the same time as the Austrian record in her second run yesterday.

My my it’s cold up at the sliding centre tonight.
It’s all a bit creepy as well actually with this strange cloudy haze settled over the mountains looming over the track.

Here's how Team GB's three athletes completed their second runs yesterday.
Tabby Stoecker was third after the first run, but slipped to fifth after her second attempt.

Ready for more people flying face first down a track?
Well, I'm glad to hear you are, because we've got runs three and four of the women's skeleton about to start.
Competitors will head down the track in the order of their ranking after yesterday's first two runs, so leader Janine Flock of Austria will be out first, followed by the German trio of Susanne Kreher, Jacqueline Pfeifer and Hannah Neise.
Team GB's Tabby Stoecker, Freya Tarbit and Amelia Coltman are fifth, sixth and ninth respectively.

Speed skating - men's 500m final

The other little story about Jordan Stolz is that he uses Eric Heiden's former coach Bob Corby, who had been out of the sport since the 1990s - he came out of retirement at the request of Stolz.

An Olympic record! It was actually a perfect race from De Boo - he had Stolz in front of him all the way to the last inner and unfortunately couldn't do it. What a performance from Stolz.
Even though Stolz's first 100m wasn't that quick, coming around the outside lane, he was almost tipping on 59-60kmh.
I thought De Boo might have got it, but Stolz composed himself.
Stolz is still on his way to become the new Eric Heiden. He has two golds already but still has the 1,500m to go. What a marvellous performance.

Both Jenning de Boo and Jordan Stolz go under Lauren Dubreuil's time but it's the American who has the Olympic record. He leads the way with a time of 33.77 seconds.
De Boo is +0.11 slower and hits the deck after crossing the finish line. The reigning world champion is furious with himself.
