The British rider lands all her jumps and she seems pretty pleased when she gets to the end of her run.

It really is a game of cat and mouse in the first few stones of each end - Team GB have settled in nicely.
We know that Team GB can stamp their dominance early on and let Canada know that they are here to win this game. Stone placement is really key to stop the Canadians getting the right angle.
It has been a fantastic start for Team GB and this will be a great game that everyone wants to watch. These two teams are great rivals.

Competing against Kirsty Muir in the women's freeski slopestyle is Eileen Gu, a triple medallist from the Beijing Olympics four years ago.
Gu is American-born but represents China, and is one of the highest-paid female athletes in the world.
In 2025, she ranked fourth in the Forbes list having earned $23.1m (£16.9m), putting her behind tennis stars Coco Gauff, Aryna Sabalenka and Iga Swiatek.
But unlike those three, very little of Gu's income is earned directly from her sport. Instead, it comes through big endorsements with the likes of Red Bull and Porsche.
She's also modelled for Victoria’s Secret in New York and Louis Vuitton in Paris, all while a student at Stanford University.
So despite all that, why is she back at the Olympics? Easy.
“I’m doing this because I’ve seen the world and the best that it has to offer, and I think that this is the best thing in the world," she told Time magazine, external.

Kirsty Muir was the youngest member of Team GB at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing, aged just 17.
She's back four years later to try and better her fifth-place finish in the the big air competition and eighth in the slope-style.
Muir has had her struggles since - including recovering from a torn ACL - but the 21-year-old Scot arrives in Italy on the back of winning X Games slopestyle gold in January.
She'll be the 10th rider to go in the first qualifying run.

The crowd here at Livigno Snow Park were stunned by that fall from Eileen Gu. The last thing we expected to see and absolute silence from the hundreds of fans here as she completed the rest of the course.
Early nerves?
Women's freeski slopestyle qualifying
Qualification for slopestyle consists of two runs, with only the best run counting towards the athlete's final ranking.
The athletes are judged on tricks performed on a course featuring three jumps and three rail sections.
Skiers are given a score out of 100 per run based on amplitude, technical difficulty, creativity and landings.

Eileen Gu is human after all! We have some drama on our hands. That was not on the bingo card.
She went deep into the rail and could not get any purchase off it. Gu needs to get some jumps in, to get herself warmed up.
Women's freeski slopestyle qualifying
Oh my word! An early shock in the women's freeski slopestyle qualifying.
Eileen Gu - a triple medallist at the last Olympic Games in Beijing - falls backwards on the first very rail of the course.
She looks devastated as she hugs her mum at the end of the run.
It's a mere score of 1.26 for the Chinese athlete, but she will get another go in the second qualifying run.

Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds seem to be in a chipper mood and no wonder.
The GB pair have won their opening five matches to roar to the brink of the semi-finals and have started strongly here.
Their toughest four round robin matches are still to come over the next two days - Canada and United States today, then Switzerland and defending champions Italy tomorrow - but they are in great shape as they look to exorcise the memory of finishing fourth in 2022.

Hello from beautiful Livigno!
It's a crisp, sunny morning here in the Italian Alps and Olympic fever has hit. I could hear music pounding from the snow park from early this morning - thankfully, my alarm had already gone off...
Image source, BBC SportWomen's freeski slopestyle qualifying is about to get under way with Kirsty Muir flying the flag for Team GB.
As with every everything at the snow park, the slopestyle course is HUGE. I took this photo on a walk around the other day, trying to show the scale of the final drop. The only way I'd go down that is sliding on my bum, never mind flip and trick my way off the jump.

Curling - mixed doubles round robin
Great Britain's Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds have played five matches so far in the round robin and they've got four more to go.
Their next test is against Canada's Brett Gallant and Jocelyn Peterman, who are married.
The pair won silver at the 2019 World Championships and Gallant was part of the bronze-winning team in the men's event in Beijing.
Canada have won three of their four matches so far and sit third in the round robin standings behind United States and leaders Great Britain.

There are 10 teams, each of whom play nine times in the round robin stage.
The top four in the standings after that go to the semi-finals on Monday, with the country with the best record playing the fourth best and the second and third facing off.
The winners of those compete for gold and the losers go for bronze - both on Tuesday.
Got it?

Curling - mixed doubles round robin
The Winter Olympics might have only just officially begun, but Team GB's Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds are well into the swing of things.
The British pair started their bid for an Olympic medal in curling's mixed doubles on Wednesday and they've been in action every day since, competing in the round robin.
They remain undefeated from their first five games and sit top of the standings.
But can they keep their streak going? Mouat and Dodds are back on the ice this morning, taking on Canada's Brett Gallant and Jocelyn Peterman.
