Second seed Iga Swiatek, targeting the career Grand Slam in Melbourne, is currently in action against Marie Bouzkova on John Cain Arena.

The 24-year-old Pole underwhelmed during her straight-sets win over Yuan Yue in round one, dropping serve three times and producing 34 unforced errors in a performance with "many ups and downs".

Swiatek looks on course for a more convincing victory today - she's taken the first set 6-2 against 27-year-old Czech Bouzkova, although she did have her serve broken early on.
