*Sinner 6-3 1-2 Djokovic
Jannik Sinner's first serve is having a little holiday and it's giving Novak Djokovic a nice foothold in points, allowing him to get inside the baseline and set up a volley winner with yet another drop shot.
Trailing 15-30, Sinner finds a timely ace to level the game but then produces a poor drop shot allows Djokovic to pounce.

Perhaps the most sobering moment for Djokovic [against Sinner] was two years ago at the Australian Open.
He was on a 33-match winning streak at the Australian Open and he lost the first two sets 6-1 6-2. He won the third set, but he was completely outplayed.
That felt like quite a significant moment.

Djokovic has come out firing in this set, he's realised he needs to pump it up a bit, hit a bit harder.
He needs to get Sinner off balance. It's not very easy to do, but he has to push him around somehow.

I don't think Djokovic feels that anywhere is safe to go to on this court. He feels that every shot is going to come back. It's like playing against a video game character.
There was some interesting looks from Djokovic over to his camp, a little bit of anger. I'm not quite sure what he said, but he didn't look particularly happy

It's Novak Djokovic's turn to chase down drop shots en route to a routine hold, firing his return back into Jannik Sinner's feet.
He's growing into this.

Good awareness from Jannik Sinner, rushing from the back of the court following an unhelpful net cord and nailing a backhand winner.
He uses his speed again on the following point, chasing down a drop shot and opening his racquet to fire a forehand winner across the net at a vicious angle: 40-0.
A serve down the T completes the hold. He's only dropped five points on serve.
*Sinner 4-2 Djokovic
Novak Djokovic pushes Jannik Sinner into his backhand corner and is quickly into the net for the forehand winner with the Italian running the wrong way across the baseline.
But what's looking like a routine hold at 40-0 quickly turns sticky as Sinner wins the next two points.

Djokovic had a shocker in the first few games, but he is striking the ball pretty well now and is hitting really deep.
