    But the eighth seed recovers well and wins the next three points to restore a narrow lead.

    The tournament would like an epic five-set thriller and I never thought I'd say this after the quality Sinner showed in that opening set but, right now, I think Shelton is hitting the ball better.

    Sinner's been shanking a few and not doing the same damage or having the same impact but Shelton is - he's gained energy from what's happening at the other end.

    Shelton gets a slice of luck with an actual slice which bobbles off the net cord, but Sinner fires in an ace to complete the job.
