  1. Postpublished at 14:10 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 26-0 Stade Francais

A monstrous Stade scrum overpowers Ulster on their own 22. Their handling lets them down again but they had an advantage coming so Zack Henry nudges into the corner.

Paul Gustard introduces his own bomb squad five minutes into the second half with five subs thrown on at once.

    Ulster 26-0 Stade Francais

Dave McCann tries a rather ill-advised offload which is picked up by Yoan Tanga. The big No. 8 kicks on but it is well recovered by Robert Baloucoune.

Yours truly played in the back row back in the day (whenever I was fitter!) and would have been very pleased with an open play kick like that!

Former Exeter Chiefs fly-half on BBC Radio Ulster

I've no doubt Zac Ward is a name Andy Farrell [Ireland coach] will be thinking about, especially with the way he carries the ball.

He carries the ball with venom - it takes two or three players to take him down.

    Tommy Seymour
Former Scotland winger on BBC Radio Ulster

It's been a really impressive performance from Ulster - it's been a mature and composed display.

All 15 players have bought in to what they have to do today.

  6. Half-timepublished at 13:47 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 26-0 Stade Francais

A scintillating first 40 for Ritchie Murphy's men sees them claim the bonus point and keep the visitors with a bagel on the scoreboard. Does that technically count as 120 minutes of scoreless rugby?

You couldn't have asked for much more than that though from a first half at the Affidea Stadium.

  7. Postpublished at 13:44 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 26-0 Stade Francais

Zack Henry makes ground through the gap but his pass to HIA replacement Samuel Ezeala hits the deck. Scrum down Ulster but Stade claim it came off Zac Ward's hand and they may have had a point!

  8. Postpublished at 13:43 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 26-0 Stade Francais

Ulster infringe at the ruck and Zack Henry sends the ball towards the 22. Can the visitors get anything on the board before the break?

Ulster are performing really well today - a couple of things we want to clean up but the workrate and accuracy has been really impressive.

    Jonathan Bradley
BBC Sport NI senior journalist at Affidea Stadium

Just a reminder for all the permutation fans out there, with their four-try bonus point secured, Ulster just need to now focus on winning the game to be sure of topping the pool.

Even in the unlikely event that Stade were to claim two bonus points in defeat from this position, Ulster would still edge ahead in the standings with a win.

Converted Try - Ulster 26-0 Stade Francaispublished at 13:35 GMT 17 January

    Nathan Doak (Murphy con)

Robert Baloucoune has had a brilliant first half and he spots a gap in the Stade backline and powers through it.

He then proceeds to make another gap and puts Nathan Doak through it. The Ulster scrum half outpaces his opposite number Paul Abadie for the bonus point try before the half.

Jack Murphy converts again in the rain in Belfast but it is the Parisians who are under a cloud so far.

  12. Postpublished at 13:34 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 19-0 Stade Francais

Ten minutes until the half and Jack Murphy puts a penalty into the corner, Stade were making some big dominant tackles but just strayed offside.

Ulster's lineout throw is over the top and the Parisians can clear.

  13. try

Converted Try - Ulster 19-0 Stade Francaispublished at 13:28 GMT 17 January

    Stuart McCloskey (Murphy con)

This one counts! Ulster's ball-handling has been simply stunning through the opening 25 minutes and it's dummy runner galore in the backline.

After a strong scrum, the ball goes out right and it's left wing Zac Ward who pops up to give the final pass to Stuart McCloskey who dives over in the corner.

A brilliant conversion from Jack Murphy extends the lead even further.

The try is disallowed as Robert Baloucoune's final pass to Nathan Doak is forward. It was more brilliant rugby from Ulster but the final pass just let them down.

  15. try

    Nathan Doak

Hold on, we're having a TMO check for a potential forward pass...

Stade's pack have been strong despite the early Ulster pressure. They steal an UIster lineout inside the 22 and Giorgi Melikidze puts his head down and goes for the line.

It takes a swarm of white shirts but Ulster hold up the Georgian monster over the line.

  17. try

Try - Ulster 12-0 Stade Francaispublished at 13:17 GMT 17 January

    Robert Baloucoune

I have to say, Ulster are playing some thoroughly entertaining rugby. Bryn Ward picks and carries powerfully off the base of the scrum before they go wide yet again.

James Hume's perfectly-timed pass to Robert Baloucoune puts the winger into the corner for a well-finshed try under pressure from a couple of blue and red shirts.

The conversion is right on the touchline and Jack Murphy's effort falls just wide but a great first quarter for Ulster.

  18. Postpublished at 13:16 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 7-0 Stade Francais

Stuart McCloskey has been everywhere in the opening thirteen minutes. He gets on the end of a Jack Murphy cross-field kick and bounces off the tackle of Charles Laloi.

Again, the hosts move coast to coast and Robert Baloucoune stretches his powerful legs but his offload to Jacob Stockdale doesn't stick. However, Stade are feeling generous and they gift Ulster the ball back.

McCloskey is the target again for a cross-field kick but it's just a step ahead of him. This has been a furious opening to this one.

  19. Postpublished at 13:11 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 7-0 Stade Francais

Stade make good ground up the middle but another loose pass comes off the knee of openside Mathieu Hirigoyen and Ulster clear putting the visitors on the back foot.

  20. Postpublished at 13:08 GMT 17 January

    Ulster 7-0 Stade Francais

Stade threaten out wide through Charles Laloi but they give the ball away and Stuart McCloskey launches a kick into no-man's land out the back which dribbles out just shy of the 22.
