    Bath 14-3 Edinburgh

Edinburgh are having a few moments where they are threatening and it's no surprise to see Darcy Graham at the heart of it.

But the latest foray forward ends with Bath gaining the turnover.

    Bath 14-3 Edinburgh

There's been plenty of chat about the Edinburgh team selection already, and now they've lost one of their internationals.

Agree with Craig @ 19.57. You rest players and rotate for URC fixtures, not key European matches vs a top side with qualification at stake.

    Penalty try

    There's another one!

The scrum has too much power for the visitors and it's number eight Alfie Barbeary who thinks he has the score, but the referee had already blown for a penalty try.

That's two tries in quick succession for Bath after that promising Edinburgh start.

    Bath 7-3 Edinburgh

Edinburgh are really under pressure now and debutant Malelili Satala has to race back to cover as the ball runs in behind - but he has to carry it back over his own line so it's a five metre scrum to Bath.

Thomas du Toit (con: Finn Russell)

The pressure tells and Bath are over!

Rather than kick to the corner again Bath opt for a quick tap penalty and the big South African prop Thomas du Toit rumbles over - you don't stop him from there.

    Bath 0-3 Edinburgh

Another Finn Russell cross-field kick sees Joe Cokanasiga and Ross Thompson compete in the air for the ball.

It's originally given as a penalty against the Bath wing for pulling Thompson down - but when it's checked by the TMO it's clear that it's a fair contest between both players.

Bath were playing with the advantage so have possession back and kick to the corner.

    Bath 0-3 Edinburgh

Oooh Finn Russell's radar is unusually off with the kick - or the communication with the winger wasn't quite right - as the cross-field kick sails into touch on the full.

Bath have had lots of possession since falling behind but Edinburgh have dealt with the pressure well so far.

    Bath 0-3 Edinburgh

The first bit of crash, bang, wallop from the marauding Bath number eight Alfie Barbeary.

He has been in fine form lately and the Edinburgh defence have to team up in numbers to fell the hirsute figure as he bounces through tacklers.

    Bath 0-3 Edinburgh

A couple of half-breaks from Bath as they progress up the field but a stray pass that's behind Joe Cokanasiga leads to a knock-on and respite for the visitors.

Bath have their hands on the ball and are starting to tick, showing how dangerous they can be.

    Ross Thompson

    Great start by Edinburgh!

They have seized the early momentum and a penalty given away by Bath hooker Tom Dunn for playing the visiting scrum-half Ben Vellacott at the breakdown allows Edinburgh to take the lead through Ross Thompson.

Here we go then, the top two in a tight pool two go head-to-head to earn themselves an all-important home fixture in the round of 16.

Toulon, Munster, Gloucester and Castres will all be keeping a close eye on what happens here in the West Country next to the River Avon.

Every side is still within a chance so points difference could be crucial.

The Edinburgh line-up looks like it's just making up the numbers. Feels like there's no attempt to want to win and that defeat is a foregone conclusion. Hope I'm proved wrong.

England internationals Ollie Lawrence, Sam Underhill and Guy Pepper come back into the starting line-up to face Edinburgh as Bath attempt to tie down top spot in their Champions Cup pool and a home match in the last 16.

Springbok prop Thomas du Toit, who will depart the club in the summer, returns to the front row after missing last weekend's win over Castres.

Santi Carreras and Ted Hill are among the replacements, while Joe Cokanasiga returns on the wing.

Finn Russell and Ben Spencer continue at half-back, with Lawrence paired with Max Ojomoh in midfield.

Before the final round of matches, Bath are top of Pool Two, one point ahead of Edinburgh, although French side Toulon lurk in third.
