Try: Lions 30-21 Dragonspublished at 54 mins

    Steyn try

    It's now looking ominous.

Lions put the pressure on in the 22 and scrum-half Nico Steyn runs a good support line to go over.

A double whammy for Dragons with Rio Dyer shown yellow after the penalties tot up.

Looks like the Ospreys aren't dealing well with the wind this second half.

Just seems like they're struggling on the left hand side of the pitch, so they need to counter on the right and take the points when they can.

    Connacht 14-14 Ospreys

We are at that stage where every penalty matters here.

Connacht win the latest one as Darragh Murray jackals Ryan Smith and forces the Ospreys replacement to hold on.

It sets up a lineout chance for the hosts but this time, it's Dave Heffernan who can't find his man and Dan Edwards clears.

    This is an amazing game.

An amazing try from Rio Dyer, and some amazing pin point kicking from Angus O'Brien.

But the Lions have just gone over under the posts.

    Cracking game!

    Smith try

Immediate response from Lions, who rack up the offloads down the left.

With penalty advantage in the 22 they hammer away before fly-half Smith eventually goes over. He converts.

    Dyer try, O'Brien con

    What a score!

Dragons hit the front courtesy of a cracker by Rio Dyer, who gathers Angus O'Brien pinpoint kick-pass with penalty advantage in the 22.

The fly-half then adds the touchline extras.

Is there the chance of a HUGE upset in South Africa? Still plenty of time to go.

I want to give credit to Dan Edwards for that blind pass, and that's what has broken Connacht.

And fair play to Luke Morgan, he's had a classy game today.

Ospreys' need to take the chances they are getting. Last week and now this they are blowing their play off push.

    Morgan try, Edwards con

Brilliant handling and Luke Morgan goes over!

It all came from that overhit kick by Jack Carty, and from the scrum Dan Edwards and Kieran Williams do brilliantly to create space before the winger crosses in the corner.

Edwards drills over the conversion and this one is back in the balance.

That just shows how much the wind has an impact when you play at Connacht.

Guaranteed he didn't even try with that kick, and it went straight over and out on the play.

Filo Tiatia's side have been impressive at Rodney Parade this season and are five games unbeaten on home soil.

However, they are still struggling on their travels and have not won away in the URC since beating Scarlets in April 2022, while their last league victory outside Wales was at Connacht in October 2021.

They are getting closer... could today be the day?

I don't know the pack weight stats, but you know that Darragh Murray makes up a fraction of that.

The Ospreys need to convert this pressure into points with that man advantage.

    Connacht 14-7 Ospreys

Another Ospreys error in attack hands Connacht a scrum and the visitors have just four minutes to capitalise on 15 playing against 14.

There is an indication of the breeze mind, Jack Carty clearing from deep in his own half - with the ball flying over the dead-ball line at the other end of the field!

The Connacht defence has been water tight in this position on their try line all game.

I think that ball should've been in the scrum a little bit longer, and they've been under so much pressure.

Ospreys need a new tactic here.

    Connacht 14-7 Ospreys

Yet again, Ospreys waste the chance.

A big hit from Bundee Aki on Morgan Morse leads to a turnover and then when the ball goes loose, Connacht get a scrum.

I say a wasted chance - but huge defence from the home side that.

That has been coming, Darragh Murray in the bin.

A scrum under the posts, we saw this at the back end of the second half and hopefully the Ospreys can get some points here.

    Connacht 14-7 Ospreys

Back come the Ospreys as Jac Morgan carries towards the line.

Darragh Murphy is then penalised and there is no leniency from Federico Vedovelli this time. The second row sees yellow and the visitors go for the scrum.

All credit to Connacht with everything they're doing, they've started this half the same they started the first half.

It's a carbon copy to their first try.

We saw the Ospreys couldn't get over in the exact same position, so credit tot Connacht for their defensive effort.
