"I'm happy, a win to start off is great for the campaign. There's a bit of frustration we left points out there. It's exciting, if we want to be the best team in the world we've got to have high expectations

"You've got to have that hunger in you if you want to be a winger. There's a bit of ego in you to want to get those tries.

"There's stuff in my game I'm still trying to work on, especially my defensive side. It's good, you want to be an all-round player if you want to be the best team in the world.

"We speak a lot about being adaptable. You can die by your sword with one game plan. Kick variety, winning the ball back, shifting it to the corner, that puts teams under serious pressure."

"It's always interesting the first game of a tournament, you want to go out and set the story. We are starting from new and we want to show what we are about. We want to push and get better at that.

"You learn from what you did well and what you didn't do well. We gave a lot of penalties away, so there is plenty to learn."

The reason why we kicked wide was because we got in good field positions and we could give the ball to Henry Arundell. It's not just a kicking plan, it's to win territory. We got the balance right today.

"The endeavour, the intent and the ability to move the ball even though it was wet is there.

"We wanted to start the tournament with a good result and performance. We watched the France game and took a lot from it. We look to improve again this week."

I thought by large our performance was good, there is still a tinge of frustration in some aspects because we think there is more in us, but that is positive because most of it is good.

"We left a few things out there and a few lapses of concentration in the game.

"The scoreboard is where we want to be different. We recognise that and that is where we learn from that. We don't know the situation we will be in a game, but if we are up the concentration is down."

Somebody has just texted in saying the Wales team should be made to walk home.

Seems a bit harsh, but there you go.
