This is the worst Welsh side in my lifetime. When watching some players, you have to wonder how they became professional rugby players?

    Mat

England have been dominant but Wales are getting the all basics wrong

    Danny

I’m crying out for Wales to go for the posts at any penalty in the English half because I can’t trust them with the ball in hand. Countless errors mean that 0 on the scoreboard is looming larger and larger every minute.

This is embarrassing for Wales. How low have they sunk? I almost feel sorry for them.

    Jon

Wales are embarrassingly bad, I think Italy are genuinely better than them now, and maybe Wales are becoming a 2nd tier nation…

    England 29-0 Wales

England quickly take a scrum and then throw the ball to George Ford who kicks it out of play.

And that's the half. England have been good. Wales have been really bad.

That just sums the half up doesn't it. 20 seconds on the clock, we have a penalty five meters out and we don't tap the ball.

    England 29-0 Wales

What? Wales captain Dewi Lake chooses to tap and go, but never actually taps the ball with his foot before going.

Wales concede a penalty five metres from England's try line.

Wales almost mess this latest attack up too, spilling the ball, but play is called back for an England penalty.

    They'll tap and go.

    England 29-0 Wales

Wales kick a penalty into the corner.

If Wales are to have any chance in this game, they've got to score a try here, before the break.

Arundell has touched the ball three time and he has scored three times.

Ironically that was the right play from Wales. Ben Thomas engages the line too much, and Rees-Zammit is too far from where Thomas expects him to be.

Arundell just runs it in easily, that was just what Wales didn't need. They haven't had a multi-phase attack!

A simple three kick move that was butchered by Wales. There was nothing on Arundell's mind other than giving it the wheels.

    Henry Arundell con George Ford

    Hat-trick!!!

An absolute gift! Ben Thomas passes to no one, the ball drops onto the floor and Fraser Dingwall is onto it, passing to Henry Arundell who skips over for a first-half treble.

Ellis Genge's reaction to having Tomos Williams fizz a spin pass into his solar plexus from point blank range was as predictable as it was unrepeatable.

Oh my! Wales' line-out goes over everyone's heads and England scoop the ball up.

Even when Wales get into England's half they can't stay there for long.

England fly-half George Ford might be having an armchair ride but he is so accomplished at dictating play.

It has been a first-half masterclass from him.

England's Ellis Genge is penalised for not moving away on the halfway line. Another chance for Wales who kick the ball into touch.

There is nothing to hold on from this half for Wales. There was one moment early on but then it went into England's possession.

  20. Postpublished at 31 mins

    England 22-0 Wales

England get back on the ball. Freddie Steward skips through a few defenders and then George Ford gets into a kicking battle.

A few moments a go Wales had a scrum inside England's 22. Now it's the hosts once again in control.
