    Wales 0-73 South Africa

Oh Wales are narrowly denied a score.

Joe Hawkins gets a foot to a lose pass, Ellis Mee hacks on and somehow keeps the ball in play but the bounce evades everyone, including the desperate Welsh attackers.

Just when we thought Wales might get a point, the ball rolls beyond the dead ball line.

    Etzebeth try

Cobus Reinach's challenge on Morgan Morse at the back of the scrum is ruled legal and the try is good.

South Africa's 11th... and the record books are being well and truly ripped up here.

    Etzebeth

Wales make a mess, losing possession of the ball at the back of a scrum five metres from their own line.

Quick recycling and Eben Etzebeth uses his considerable height to stretch over for South Africa's 11th try.

But the referee isn't happy with something.

Unfortunately, this is so dire for Wales. This has been a masterclass of how not to play South Africa.

This is a tough one confidence wise.

Whenever Wales try and play, they’ve had a hammering.

They’re scrambling to put something together. The Boks are putting on such a display it’s really something to witness.

    Nortje try, Feinberg-Mngomezulu con

    This is relentless.

Zachary Porthen carries hard to within inches of the line and then lock Ruan Nortje just flops over.

The Welsh defence is now almost non-existent as the Springboks grab a tenth try.

    Yes... that's TEN tries.

    Wales 0-61 South Africa

This result is looking horrendous for Wales but we have to remember just how good this South Africa side are.

They have beaten everyone this year and have a strength in depth that few countries can match.

And that's before you add the mercurial coaching genius that is Rassie Erasmus.

They are taking the game to another level.

    Feinberg-Mngomezulu try & con

Andre Esterhuizen does the damage from the back of a lineout before Feinberg-Mngomezulu scoops up the ball and slips through.

That's his second try - South Africa's ninth and they're heading for the biggest away win in Cardiff.

    Wales 0-54 South Africa

Worth noting that South Africa have now equalled the record margin of victory over Wales in Cardiff.

That was set by England when they won 68-14 in March.

And they've got another 18 minutes to go.

    Wales 0-54 South Africa

We've just been told Aaron Wainwright's yellow card will remain a yellow so the number eight will be back - for a second time after his earlier injury.

James Ratti also now on for Wales in place of second-row and Ospreys teammate Rhys Davies.

    Wales 0-54 South Africa

    No.... emphatically no.

Not when Andre Esterhuizen lines up against you.

Dewi Lake takes the tap penalty, Wales drive on through Alex Mann but Esterhuizen is all over the ball at the breakdown and wins the penalty.

Even at 54-points up, South Africa are fighting for everything to keep a clean sheet.

    Wales 0-54 South Africa

At last Wales are on the attack and Blair Murray shows some nifty footwork.

They have a penalty five metres out. Can they finally get on the scoreboard?

This is a situation with the Waintwright yellow where the replay should be played at full speed.

Either way it puts Wales in a dark place.

Especially when they were just about to play with a full 15 again.

  16. Sin-bin: Aaron Wainwright (Wales)published at 53 mins

    Wales 0-54 South Africa

Aaron Wainwright had only just stepped back on the pitch before putting his shoulder into the face of Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu's face in the build up to that try.

It's a yellow card and will be reviewed for a potential red.

At the same time, Taine Plumtree returns from his yellow.

South Africa break through again... this is just relentless.

Damian Willemse gives the scoring pass and Andre Esterhuizen touches down in the left corner despite Blair Murray's efforts.

The centre has been unstoppable today.

    First missed conversion.

This game is going a little bit crazy.

Wales need to do something and get some sort of control, because South Africa are bringing on 8 subs and I've never seen anything like it.

    It’s ridiculous.

Ha, well James... that mini-bus has just delivered the bomb squad - and the rest of the cargo as well.

South Africa empty their bench in one staggering move.

Yes, that's all eight replacements on in one go, including scrum-half Cobus Reinach for his debut.

    What a scary sight!
