Some of the Scotland goal-line defence has been absolutely outstanding.

Linda Djougang is held up over the line by desperate Scottish defence. Ireland broke through thanks to a brilliant run by Brittany Hogan who was ably assisted by Vicky Elmes-Kinlan.

A superb break from Aoife Dalton has the Scottish defence scrambling. She is well hauled back by Chloe Rollie but Ireland move the ball quickly and Dalton's centre partner Enya Breen puts a grubber in behind.
It is just too long for the chasing Dannah O'Brien and rolls the wrong side of the corner flag so will be a 22 dropout for Scotland.
Dalton appeared to roll her ankle in the tackle but is back after some running repairs.

We know about Ireland's defence under [assistant coach] Hugh Hogan, they work so hard, but that's a much better passage from Scotland.
That's what we want to see in terms of the Scottish attack.

Some mixed injury news for Ireland, however, as Niamh O'Dowd has passed an HIA and returns but the stretcher has been summoned for Dorothy Wall, who went down off the ball holding her left Achilles. She is sitting up on the cart which is a positive but she is replaced by Claire Boles on 18 minutes.
