The big difference this time is Rob Baloucoune's injuries over the last number of years have been lower limb injuries, whether it is hamstrings, calves, knee. This time it's an upper body so his fitness shouldn't really be compromised.
We're watching all the guys here warm up and he is absolutely flying over the track. He'll be buzzing. He'll be excited. The last time he played he was playing for Ireland, scoring tries and being named breakthrough player of the Six Nations.

I've been really impressed with Jack Murphy this year, he is key in Ulster's philosophy of finding the best space. He's always looking to keep the ball alive and has that quality passing game.
If Ulster are going to win he is going to be the key guy in there along with Nathan Doak.
Ulster missing a load of key players, so gonna be a mammoth task here, but fingers crossed!!!

In Bilbao with my son - much cooler now but conditions still massively in favour of the French teams. Much as I'd like to see Ulster do well I expect to see 2 rather shallow Irish puddles if Montpellier and UBB get off to decent starts.

As an Ulsterman living in Dublin, I hope it's a great weekend for Irish rugby. Go Ulster tonight and Leinster tomorrow.

It's going to be a massive battle for Ulster tonight I think, particularly up front with the pack. It's interesting to see they've gone with Billy Vunipola as captain. That sort of English mentality.
They're going to be looking for him and his work rate to be leading this pack and setting a tone from the start.
Set piece is going to be hugely important to this game and I think the fact that Montpellier have gone full strength is credit to Ulster. Obviously they see Ulster as a real threat to them.

I'm a big admirer of Jude Postlethwaite, I think he will slot in Stuart McCloskey's shoes quite seamlessly. It's going to be difficult to replace a man of Stuart's quality, but in terms of a partnership and a mesh, Jude and James Hume are good.
Jude is more of an offload threat. It's a physical partnership, they're not distributors, but in this heat you want them carrying deep into Montpellier's half.
Tony McWhirter 1999 Ulster European Cup winner on BBC Radio Ulster
It's really exciting to be here.
Naturally when you get to the final of any competition, you start to get excited because you know the silverware is in touching distance but certainly the ride that Ulster have been on and the journey they've been on to this final has been really exciting for us to watch in the last number of weeks.

Not only will Ulster and Montpellier have to battle each other, but also the heat at the San Mames Stadium.
It was as high as 38 degrees today in Bilbao's city centre and it's still sitting at 32 as we approach kick off.
It'll be tough to play in and, not to be that person, but it's maybe a bit too hot with factor 50 in full flow.
In saying that, it hasn't stopped the Ulster supporters who have made their way over for the game, and they have taken over an Irish bar in Bilbao - so much so the staff are all wearing Ulster shirts while serving drinks.
If you are looking a more sedate Bilbao experience compared to the Irish bar near the ground, then the fan zone is a great shout.
With temperatures at 38 degrees this afternoon, fans were flocking to the shade in between getting drinks, some rugby challenges and listening to live music.
