    Northampton 14-10 Exeter

Rory Hutchinson dives over in the corner for Saints - but it's being checked for a knock-on earlier in the move.

Another brilliant late defensive intervention from Exeter as Tom Litchfield aimed to get that last pass away to Hutchinson, forcing the error, and Chiefs escape again.

Not this time as the ball is spilled and Chiefs can clear.

Full credit to the Chiefs defence there - Saints looked like they had overlaps and numbers over galore but some last-ditch tackles kept them out.

Immanuel Feyi-Waboso made one big old hit and he is getting patched up after it by the looks of things.

Both props changed now for Exeter.

Northampton can't find the overlap, they can't find that final pass so they have to force it.

    Exeter's defence has been fantastic.

Unbelievable defence from Chiefs to keep Saints out on a few occasions there but still Northampton come.

Can they get over the line?

The Exeter line-out hasn't functioned well all day and again they lose possession from the set-piece there.

Strangely they actually scored a try from the line-out going wrong before the break so it's not all bad I suppose!

A boost for Saints there who have their hands on the ball for the first time this half.

Saints kick-off and Exeter field it well.

They then win a penalty at the scrum - good start to the half for the Chiefs.

But for those two missed conversions from Henry Slade we would be level.

Slade actually stayed out to do some practice kicking at half-time.

He's had an excellent season and been brilliant in recent weeks so I wouldn't count out his boot having a say later on in this one.

Another 40 minutes, maybe more, of the Prem final for us to enjoy now.

Two conversions missed by Henry [Slade] which is so unusual.

Chiefs will take 14-10 at the break and when you think how many chances with both sides having a couple. I think Northampton's have been more clear-cut that Exeter

It's a great game of rugby and there are chances still going for both sides.

Did those who boo the hydration break ever play the game? Fit as those players are, on a warm summer's day dehydration is a reality especially playing at this pace

There's a few soft errors at the moment from Saints. There's now pressure being applied and we're making those errors and that is what's letting Chiefs back in the game.

It is a competitive game and that's what we've come here to see.

I think both sides have felt the pressure.

That is what it's all about, it's why it's so exciting to play in a final.

The game will come down to those defining moments, for me Exeter don't look as fit or polished as Northampton, but they're upsetting the opposition.

In defence they're making some brilliant decisions.

For me at the moment, Exeter look like they're handling the pressure better than Northampton.

That try from Exeter's Josh Iosefa-Scott was the last action of the half and there are just four points in it at the break.

What a first half that was - brilliant stuff!

    A rare mistake by Northampton.

Exeter's line-out is still creaking badly but they cash in on an error and now they've got their second try of the game.

And a crucial moment it is!

Chiefs prop Josh Iosefa-Scott bashes his way over for his side's second just before half-time!

It comes with a slight aspect of fortune as Joseph Dweba again doesn't find a jumping Dafydd Jenkins in the line-out but the ball goes all the way to the back of the line-out where Iosefa-Scott shows great hands and great awareness to grab it and power over.

Henry Slade again missed the conversion though.

Lovely stuff from Len Ikitau who offloads to Olly Woodburn who makes good ground in the tackle.

Chiefs send it wide and have the advantage.

It comes to nothing and from the penalty Henry Slade kicks it into the corner.

It feels like a crucial moment this so close to the break.

Exeter just need to stay in it.

In games this year they've managed to just stay in it and make a comeback, they need to do that now.

This Exeter front row are really struggling at the moment though, the conditions are having an impact.

    It's a well-worked try.

They really are working hard and had to work hard there because at the moment Exeter have been defending really courageously.

Fin Smith, who would have thought it, diving through.

The fly-half is over for Northampton's second!

Saints win the collisions at the breakdown with Curtis Langdon to the fore and when he is stopped just short, Alex Mitchell whips it away to Fin Smith who beats Stephen Varney one-on-one to cross the whitewash.

Smith then pops over the extras to stretch the Saints lead to seven.
