That TMO process was a farce. Why did it take so long? Great from the referee to question the TMO who wanted to award the try when all three on field officials were seeing the same thing. Right decision.

    Austin, Wiltshire

Disallowed try: It's not that he was just bound to the ruck, but the number four had his hand on the ball before no. 7 in front then picked it up to place over the line. Amazed how TMO didn't spot that.

The Pumas are straight back on the attack and test the Welsh defence in the 22.

Great scrambling and they hold Argentina and their big runners up over the line.

How many times have we seen Rhys Carre do that?

I said that it was a perfect situation for him and it was a fantastic try.

Teams know what is coming, stopping it is another matter.

Quick tap and Carre barges over from the second phase.

He did that expertly in the Six Nations and repeats the trick.

Five tries in his last six Tests, including that cracker in Dublin.

Wales were so close to the line there. There was a gap out wide if they could have found it.

Eddie James with a hard line then Rhys Carre racks up the yards in the 22.

More hard carrying by Wales' forwards earns penalty advantage, with James then going close.

Jac Morgan goes over but ref Paul Williams wants to see if he was attached to the ruck before he picked it up.

Eric Gauzins is the TMO, who is keen to pass the buck!

Ref Paul Williams is confident that he was bound to the ruck, and after one last check it's chalked off.

    That took WAY too long.

A very scrappy period of play, with possession changing hands a number of times, ends with a Wales penalty as Dillon Lewis gets over the ball again.

Wales' dream start has been forgotten as Argentina respond, and every Pumas carry is being roared on by the home crowd.

The stadium may not be full, but those here are generating plenty of noise.

Stoppage while Julian Montoya - who has been one of the world's best hookers for years and years - gets bandaged up with blood all over his jersey.

Not quite Terry Butcher levels of blood, mind.

The commitment to get up above Sam Costelow from Delguy is great.

He retrieves the ball and then one missed tackle on the edge allows Argentina to go over.

A fine finish out wide by centre Piccardo but it was all down to a majestic take of a high ball by wing Bautista Delguy.

He climbed high to claim a bomb above Sam Costelow, swiftly popped a pass to fellow wing Mateo Carreras and the Pumas stayed calm in the 22.

Albornoz adds the extras for a seven-point lead.

Some of the defensive decisions have been quite poor so far.

Not just that but the tackling technique has been poor as well.

    Manic rugby in San Juan!

Argentina cutting through the Welsh defence with some terrific rugby and get to the 22 but a pass is picked off by Blair Murray.

Wales then turn over the ball and have to soak up more pressure until the ball is knocked on five metres out.

Big test of Wales' scrum, which was good against Fiji.
