And that is the last action of the half.

England could have been further ahead, and they may be frustrated that they have not quite clicked at times, while Ireland have been hamstrung by some basic errors but have had some promising moments.

That is exactly how you recover from an error that was made a few minutes ago. No matter who Ellie Kildunne is, she will not score a try.

Kildunne collected a short pass from Claudia Moloney-MacDonald and looked certain to score by the posts, but good work from Vicky Elmes Kinlan did just enough and the England superstar dropped the ball as she looked to dot down.

England attack, and there's yet another Ireland handling error.

Alex Campion steals an Irish lineout within England's 22, allowing Holly Aitchison the time to kick clear despite the close attentions of Cliodhna Moloney-MacDonald.

Ireland get the ball back for a penalty, but Dannah O'Brien commits a basic error, kicking her penalty too far, beyond the corner flag and England get a scrum.

Ireland have failed to take the few opportunities they have had.

It has been a thing with England that they don't have to be at their best to win games. You can tell they have had some time away and they are almost standing static making them huge targets.
