Try - England 28-5 Irelandpublished at 63 mins

    Anna McGann

With Natasha Hunt limping off, and England wondering how to reshuffle their backline, Ireland taker advantage and get onto the scoresheet!

They move the ball right, scrum-half Emily Lane feeds a short pass off a maul and Anna McGann does superbly, under pressure from English tacklers, to twist around and get the ball just over the line.

    England 28-0 Ireland

There's a whole lot of strapping going on to the right knee, and Natasha Hunt is fit enough to carry on.

That break also gave us the chance to see Marlie Packer, albeit with a yellow bib on and carrying drinks to those that need it.

    England 28-0 Ireland

Natasha Hunt is down and needing treatment, the game pauses while she is seen to.

Ireland must be frustrated that good spells, in defence or attack, have been undone by drops or charge-downs like the one that resulted in Breach's try.

Ellie Kildunne seems to be running great ‘dummy’ lines but taking the ball. It’ll come off before long, either as the dummy or misread by the defence. Want to also mention Maddie Feaunati - I think the very last blade of grass has just been trodden upon.

Really nice bit of play for England. It was a great chase and a lovely pick up from Jess.

  8. converted try

Converted try - England 28-0 Irelandpublished at 54 mins

    Jess Breach (Con: Rowland)

    Yes, she certainly did!

Meg Jones charged down an Irish kick, and then chipped cleverly ahead allowing Jess Breach the chance to race through.

She managed to latch onto the ball, and despite an incoming tackle, she grounded it to record her 54th try in her 54th international.

It looks like a wonderful try - but was the ball grounded?

    England 21-0 Ireland

After a couple of resets and some stern words from the referee, Ireland do well to clear with Emily Lane doing well to flip the ball back to Dannah O'Brien.

She clears to halfway, and Ellie Kildunne cannot get free from the green shirts that bear down on her.

An England attack is stopped by fine work from Cliodhna Moloney-MacDonald, but England then attack to the right and Ellie Kildunne looks to be slicing through.

But the full-back is stopped in her tracks and is held standing up, giving Ireland the ball at a scrum five metres out.

Huge roars from England's front row as they disrupt an Irish scrum and win a penalty that gives England the chance to kick clear.

Another chance for Ireland goes begging.

  13. England short at lockpublished at 15:34 BST 11 April

Lock Morwenna Talling was one of England's unsung World Cup heroes.

Zoe Stratford, Abbie Ward and Rosie Galligan, who have all played in the second row under John Mitchell, all recently announced their pregnancies.

Talling's injury looks like it could be serious and is a big opportunity for Haineala Lutui, who usually plays in the back row.

    England 21-0 Ireland

Ireland get a penalty from the scrum, and Dannah O'Brien's kick to the England 22 is dropped by Ellie Kildunne.

The full-back feels it didn't go forwards, but the referee Clara Munarini thinks otherwise.

  15. Postpublished at 45 mins

    England 21-0 Ireland

The replacement gets an early touch, smashing onto the ball in the centre as England spin it wide from a lineout.

Sadia Kabeya makes good yardage with a forceful run down the right, but England lose the ball in the tackle and Ireland have the chance to clear from a scrum in their own half.

Talling is not a soft girl, she will run through brick walls. So this is tough for England right now.

  17. Replacementpublished at 15:30 BST 11 April

A visibly frustrated Talling is placed onto the truck and taken off, giving replacement Haineala Lutui her first England cap.

    England 21-0 Ireland

Dannah O'Brien chips ahead nicely, it's plucked from the air by Brittany Hogan who then feeds to Aoife Dalton. Ireland push England back, but frustratingly Hogan is then caught offside.

During that passage of play, Morwena Talling goes to the floor with an injury and the game stops so the lock can be seen too.

  19. Kick-offpublished at 15:25 BST 11 April

    England 21-0 Ireland

Dannah O'Brien's kick-off is easily taken by Helena Rowland, and Holly Aitchison then clears her kick down to halfway.

    No substitutions as yet.
