James Williams spins the ball wide and Kalaveti Ravouvou lets it bounce up into his hands to cross for Bristol's second try about 40 minutes after their first.

A nice moment for the winger, with the try coming on his 50th appearance for Bristol.

    Just take the points.

Be a bit more pragmatic - with this wind, get yourself in front.

    Glasgow 12-14 Bulls

A big scrum win for Glasgow at the start of this second half.

It's a very kickable penalty, but Dan Lancaster goes to the corner.

It's a decision that doesn't come off though as the hosts knock on from the lineout.

It took just 50 seconds of the second half for Toulouse to add a seventh try.

Thomas Ramos straightens the line and finds Matthis Lebel who cuts back infield off his wing to score his second of the match under little pressure.

Lebel, Kalvin Gourgues and Peatro Mauvaka all have two tries tonight.

What I love about Franco Smith is that he trusts guys.

He's put on Ben Afshar with 50 minutes to go - he believes in the youngsters.

It's made this squad so much stronger.

The big decision for both coaches is how they use their benches in the second half.

  8. Half-timepublished at 18:17 BST 4 April

    Toulouse 40-7 Bristol

That's the halfway point and some respite for the beleaguered Bristol Bears.

It all started so well, they were on the front foot in the opening exchanges and scored the first try.

But then Toulouse hit back in style and at home, in the sunshine, with their supporters behind them, they are almost impossible to contain.

  9. Half-time Glasgow 12-14 Bullspublished at 18:16 BST 4 April

The Scotstoun crowd aren't happy after a Canan Moodie tackle on Stafford McDowall is deemed not to be foul play.

    That is half-time in a tightly-fought game.

  10. converted try

Converted try: Toulouse 40-7 Bristolpublished at 40 mins

    Kalvin Gourgues (con: Thomas Ramos)

As if to illustrate that point about forcing it, Bears do just that before the half-time whistle as Matthis Lebel picks off James Williams' pass with an interception and gives the ball to Kalvin Gourgues to score his second.

That's six first-half tries for the hosts.

  11. Penalty: Glasgow 12-14 Bullspublished at 40 mins

    Handre Pollard

With less than a minute until half-time, Handre Pollard knocks over an excellent kick from distance to restore the Bulls' lead.

    Toulouse 33-7 Bristol

Bristol aren't seeing much of the ball and when they do they are still trying to stick to their expansive game, but because of the situation they find themselves in, they are just forcing it a bit when it's not on.

It's a very difficult place to be, 33-7 down away to Toulouse.

They need half-time to regroup and Pat Lam will have to deliver some words of wisdom.

  13. try

    Matthis Lebel

Another line-out drive from Toulouse looks like it's rumbling to the line but when it loses momentum Antoine Dupont takes charge to sling it wide to winger Matthis Lebel to finish in the corner.

If the pack don't score the backs will.

A truly compelling contest swings again.

A huge Glasgow rolling maul goes close, and before Bulls can get set, Jack Dempsey darts over from close range.

Dan Lancaster's conversion attempt tries to drift inside the posts on the wind, but doesn't quite come back enough.

  15. Penalty: Glasgow Warriors 7-11 Bullspublished at 32 mins

    Handre Pollard

Bulls are winning penalty after penalty in Glasgow territory and Kyle Steyn gets a talking to about his team's discipline.

After the ticking-off, Handre Pollard extends the visitors' lead off the tee.

    Toulouse 28-7 Bristol

Toulouse wing Teddy Thomas chips through and is in a foot race with Wales speedster Louis Rees-Zammit to the ball in the in-goal zone.

It looks like Rees-Zammit pushes the ball out of play - which is not allowed - to stop Thomas getting there but the officials take a look at it and don't see the need for any action against the Welshman.

Some might say that the decision is a little lenient...

    Tom English

Despite the lousy conditions, Glasgow are still finding a way to play rugby.

That Max Williamson try was ruthless and classic Glasgow. Stafford McDowall is in the team ahead of Huw Jones and he started it with a huge burst.

McDowall might not have the profile of others in this Glasgow team but in many ways he typifies what they're all about.

Great try and now Bulls have responded. Deafening response to one score and complete silence for the other. Riveting contest.

    Johan Grobbelaar

Bulls hooker Johan Grobbelaar crashes over in the corner after multiple phases in the Glasgow 22.

The visitors have a strong wind at their backs in this first half and you feel need to take advantage of the those conditions.

Handre Pollard's conversion is dragged just wide, but the South African outfit are back in front.

    Peato Mauvaka (con: Thomas Ramos)

Toulouse have more points than minutes played as they add a fourth try.

They are irresistible when they turn it on at home like this and Bristol don't have any answers.

Antoine Dupont is stopped short of the line but Toulouse recycle it quickly and Peato Mauvaka forces his way over from close range for his second.

Thomas Ramos makes it four from four from the tee.

A real class act is the France full-back.
