Wales have a lifeline and it's captain Kate Williams who takes the honours.
Seren Lockwood makes the initial linebreak to get Wales right in front of Scotland's posts and Williams takes it herself from close range and dives under.
Wales finally get into Scotland's 22 for the first time since early in the half, but Scotland's defence is rock solid and Holland Brogan gets her hands on the ball to take it off Gwen Crabb.
More changes afoot first for Scotland as prop Leah Bartlett comes off with another debutant Demi Swann on and try-scorer Shona Campbell is replaced by Lucia Scott.
There's also another for Wales as scrum-half Keira Bevan makes way for Seren Lockwood.
Referee Ella Goldsmith has called on the TMO to check a tackle and Wales are down to 14 with number eight Bryonie King in the bin for a high tackle on her opposite number Emily Coubrough.
There's also a bunker review ongoing to see if it's to be upgraded to a red.
