Players coming in must raise their game immensely, to reach current standards of the modern game. Scotland win for me, sadly.

Wales were comprehensively outplayed by France and assistant coach Danny Wilson admitted "the scoreline stings", but they were better than against England.

Former captain Sam Warburton insisted it was not all doom and gloom against Les Bleus.

Will the thrashing Wales have suffered in the first two rounds serve them well in the future? Aaron Wainwright hopes so.

"We spoke after the game just about the bigger picture and the journey that we're going on as a team and just to try and concentrate on that, take the learnings from each game," said the number eight.

"Hopefully over the next couple of weeks, later down the line, we can look back on these results and performances and think how far we've come."

Wales will hope to be in the contest on Saturday and Wainwright will be to the fore.

The Leicester-bound Dragons talisman has 28 carries for 86 metres, has beaten eight defenders and got over the gainline 20 times.

He has had nine dominant contacts and racked up 55 post-contact metres.

I would be happy to see Sam Costelow start with Dan Edwards coming off the bench. We only need to look at England to see how competition for places drives players to their highest standard.

Here is a reminder of what France did to Wales in Cardiff last Sunday.

It was a tough afternoon but some of the French attacking play was a joy to watch.

Can anyone stop them from winning the title? The Scots will hope to do so.

Wales went with a back three of Louis Rees-Zammit, Josh Adams and Ellis Mee against England and France.

Tandy and co. look set to make a change on the wing with the introduction of the explosive Gabriel Hamer-Webb.

He made the switch from Cardiff to Leicester last summer and was a surprise inclusion in the Six Nations squad at the expense of in-form Dragons wing Rio Dyer.

Hamer-Webb is a powerful and rapid runner while he also has strong aerial skills, which is something that has led to Blair Murray dropping out of the 23 in recent times.

The Tigers back, 25, qualifies for Wales through his Cardiff-born mother.

  11. A change at 10?published at 08:37 GMT 19 February

Steve Tandy has selected Dan Edwards in all six of his games as Wales boss but could be set to make a change at fly-half.

It's not Jarrod Evans - who scored the winning kick against Japan in November and came on against France - who is in line to wear 10 on his back.

Instead, it looks like Sam Costelow is to get the nod to win his first cap since Wales lost the first Test in Japan last summer.

The 25-year-old has been in terrific form for Scarlets since returning from an ankle injury and his display versus Northampton in the Champions Cup is sure to have caught the eye of the management.

It's another early start here at Wales' headquarters in the Vale of Glamorgan as Steve Tandy names his team to face Scotland.

This is the last fixture of the first block of the Six Nations and the head coach's match-day 23 will be unveiled at 09:00 GMT and he will then outline why when facing the media an hour later.

After heavy defeats against England and France, will Wales have enough about them to make a game of it against the Scots?

Let's have a look at some of the big calls that need to be made.
