Is this the new norm for Welsh rugby? No shock, no anger. Clear difference between the two sides.

Steve Tandy has a huge job ahead of him but so does the entire Welsh community of Welsh rugby.

It feels like another long, hard arduous Six Nations for Wales.

    Big call from Steve.

I'm going to call it and say Wales can take two victories from the last three games of the tournament.

France have been an absolute joy to watch.

Another tough day at the office for Wales.

It's two teams in completely different points of their cycles at the moment. French rugby is absolutely flying, Welsh rugby needs some work.

    That's it.

Wales are put out of their misery, although they did manage to get the final score of the game.

France finish with eight tries for their biggest win against Wales in Cardiff... although the margin of victory was less than the 43-0 in Paris last year.

They are the fourth team in five games under Tandy to score a half century in Cardiff after Argentina, New Zealand and South Africa enjoyed their autumn visits.

Wales hunt a consolation after scrum penalty earns field position.

Hard carrying in the 22 moves them to within yards of the line and then Taine Plumtree is held up.

Back for a penalty and Wales will still chase their second try.

  12. Lowest Cardiff crowd for Six Nationspublished at 74 mins

    Wales 7-54 France

    Just announced - today's attendance is 57,744.

That's the lowest ever Six Nations crowd in Cardiff, fewer than the previous smallest crowd of 58,349 against Italy in 2002.

It appears Wales fans are starting to vote with their feet as events both on and off the field in Welsh rugby begin to grind the public down.

And I'd actually love to know how many of today's crowd are French because it feels like there are a lot of them.

It's all a bit manic out there and a Wales attack ends with a knock on by Aaron Wainwright, who has got through plenty of work, in the 22.

They have been second best by a distance but have still blown some chances in attack.

    Wales 7-54 France

So just for the record, we've been looking through the history books.

This is now France's biggest ever score against Wales, surpassing the 51 they scored at Wembley in 1998.

They're also well on course to beat their biggest margin of victory here in Cardiff which was previously 33 points in 2000 and again in a 2007 World Cup warm-up.

That is unfortunately a consequence of Wales playing so many phases.

The knock-on effect of that is you punch yourself out and you're shot.

You can hear the French crowd now, they're bouncing.
