Former Glasgow Warriors player on Premier Sports

It's a play they've seen. They've gone back to the short side from the line-out and it's really nicely worked.

It's exactly why everyone here at Scotstoun is happy to see him in person.

    Antoine Dupont

    Guess who?

Six-and-a-half minutes into his first Toulouse start since March, he goes in under the sticks after running a superb support line.

Thibaud Flament was the man who made the first break, as they went down the short side. Brilliant scrum-half play.

    Glasgow Warriors 0-0 Toulouse

The Warriors have done well, turning over Toulouse ball after a first 22m entry into Glasgow's territory.

They try to exit cleanly, but Jamie Dobie's kick is charged down. Yet again, they win it back.

Matthew Carley is the referee. He was on the whistle in Edinburgh's win last week over Toulon. Will he bring another Scottish side luck tonight?

He peeps his whistle, and we are off.

  5. Kaino thinks conditions could decide gamepublished at 19:59 GMT 13 December 2025

    Glasgow Warriors v Toulouse (20:00)

Well Andy, Jerome Kaino certainly agrees with you. There's a sentence to treasure.

Speaking to Premier Sports, the Toulouse skills coach and All Black legend said: "It's going to be a huge factor today. Both teams have huge international experience and the deciding factor could be the conditions and who plays best in them.

"We've always known the weather could be like this, so we have to look after the slippery ball as best we can.

"In analysis, Glasgow are pretty watertight. We've tried to look for weaknesses and there are very few, and that's reflected in the team we've brought over here."

It is a wild evening here at Scotstoun. The rain is coming down and the wind is swirling all over the place.

You've got to think the conditions will play a big factor and whoever manages them better will likely come out on top.

There was a big cheer from the crowd when Antoine Dupont's name was read out by the stadium announcer, but those Warriors fans will hope the little magician is not given the opportunity to display his dazzling skills this evening.

What a huge test this is for Glasgow and how they measure up to Europe's elite.

  7. Rugby's superstar returns in stacked Toulouse XVpublished at 19:54 GMT 13 December 2025

    Glasgow Warriors v Toulouse (20:00)

Toulouse, who scored eight tries in a 56-19 win over the Sharks last week, have reshuffled their back line with Antoine Dupont coming into the starting line-up alongside Romain Ntamack.

Thomas Ramos switches to full-back, Blair Kinghorn is on the wing against his fellow countrymen and England's Jack Willis starts at blind-side flanker.

It is Dupont's first start for his club for 328 days, and there's a grim stat to come for Glasgow fans.

Their visitors haven’t lost a match with Dupont in the number nine jersey for two years and eight months. Ominous.

    Glasgow Warriors v Toulouse (20:00)

The conditions here are, frankly, disgusting. I don't know if that necessarily works in Glasgow's favour, but they'll take any advantage they can get.

    The temperature is roughly 7° and there's a 47mph south-westerly wind blowing a hoolie.

  9. Dobie comes in to face Dupontpublished at 19:46 GMT 13 December 2025

    Glasgow Warriors v Toulouse (20:00)

Jamie Dobie starts at scrum-half in place of George Horne as Glasgow make one change to the side that beat Sale last Friday as they welcome six-time Champions Cup winners Toulouse to Scotstoun.

Dobie lines up alongside Adam Hastings in the half-backs with Stafford McDowall and Sione Tuipulotu continuing their centre partnership.

Kyle Steyn captains the side from the wing, with Ollie Smith and Josh McKay completing the back three. The forward pack is unchanged with the back row made up of Matt Fagerson, Rory Darge and Jack Dempsey.

    Glasgow Warriors v Toulouse (20:00)

An evening for Glasgow to try and do the impossible - win consecutive opening games in the Champions Cup, and beat a Toulouse team starring Antoine Dupont.

The French giants have named a XV absolutely stacked with talent from 1 to 15, but Glasgow are no mugs either.

They’ve kept predominantly the same team that beat Sale Sharks on their own patch last weekend.

Speaking of, let’s have a look at the squads…

    FT: Munster 31-3 Gloucester

Munster full-back Mike Haley, speaking to Premier Sports:

"The first thing we spoke about was the incredible support we got in Bath and how we didn't rise to the occasion.

"The biggest focus here was it being a massive day out in Cork and we couldn't let the crowd down.

"It was a tough first half into a strong gale but the lads backed it up and it's exactly what we wanted."

    FT: Munster 31-3 Gloucester

Munster scrum-half Craig Casey, speaking to Premier Sports:

"Especially after last week [losing at Bath], we've been hurting all week and there was a bit of soul-searching during the week because we let our travelling fans down.

"It certainly wasn't perfect tonight but it's good to get back on the horse after a tough week."

On playing at Pairc Ui Chaoimh:

"[The atmosphere was] absolutely class. It started in the warm up and we could feel it all week, we knew how special it was going to be. It's my first time playing here and it's a special place to play.

  16. Full-time: Munster 31-3 Gloucesterpublished at 19:21 GMT 13 December 2025

A convincing win in the end for Munster, who only led by four points at half-time but really took control after the break.

A full five points for them, while Gloucester will head back home empty-handed.

  17. Full-time: Bordeaux Begles 50-21 Scarletspublished at 19:20 GMT 13 December 2025

    It's all over in Bordeaux.

Scarlets desperately chased a try bonus-point in the dying minutes, but the defensive efforts looked to have taken their toll as they leave empty handed.

The champions were devastating as ever, notching up eight tries and a half century of points.

Make that five tries now for Munster, as a Gloucester line-out is overthrown and Tadhg Beirne is there to pick up the pieces. He won't score an easier try in all of his career.
